Clones these days are ridiculously good. Even the ones you go to the souks in the middle east that have the oil blend last longer, project stronger and for a much more affordable price.
Unless your a fraghead, most people wouldn’t know the difference between a clone and the real thing , so saving $$ while smelling like a expensive niche/ designer fragrance is just good sense
I tried wearing asad and received a couple of compliments thinking that I'm actually wearing sauvage elixir those clone companies are making our money worth and not actually sucks unlike your comment
I'm the type to buy clones to test out a niche fragrances vibe before actually purchasing it. Gives me plenty of wears and a chance to get a feel for whether or not I'll wear it often or not, before actually spending hundreds on a niche bottle.
Same I was buying micros and shit to test out niche but then quickly realized it’s much more efficient to get a whole 100 ml that’s close enuff to try out the expensive fragrances I’m interested in buying.
@@erick._150 I just picked up Lalique White in Black, another Layton clone, and I'm enjoying it. I'll probably end up picking up a bottle, and I'll have both to use, Layton for special occasions and the Lalique for wearing casually.
That's definitely the wrong way of doing it. If you want to test a niche fragrance, you buy a 5 or 10 ml decant and test it properly, not a clone that might be close or not. Clones you buy after you have tested the niche one and like the profile but don't want to pay the high price tag for it.
I have Carlisle and I love it so much that when I heard about it, I bought Perlador because I didn't want to use up my Carlisle. That stuff is so good and so much cheaper that I bought a 2nd bottle so I never run out of that Carlisle scent. Carlisle is a spectacular fragrance and so is Perlador. I'd say it's 95% accurate. I mean, it smells great!
I can't believe how far these clone houses has come and while I was never into clones, I had to give them a try due to all the hype that's been floating around. Some of these are absolutely amazing how close they are to the original and the ones I find almost 1 to 1 clone are: Insurrection II Wild (Pure Havane), Armaf Sillage(Creed SMW), Paris Corner Celestia (Ganymede) and Lattafa Woody Oud (TF Oud Wood).
The thing that annoys me with these reviews is they mention how close the scent is but not the quality. There are a lot of clones out there that mimic the dna almost 100% but don’t carry the same feeling regarding their quality. There are some clones that manage to smell of better quality than they have any right to, therefore I’d like to hear about that in the reviews. Anyway good vid man!
Gucci Pour Homme 1 was designed by Alberto Morilles. He sold the formula to Bentley years later ,he's on record saying it's the exact same formula. Maybe gucci used higher quality more expensive components but they are essentially the same. 😃
That's gonna be subjective as hell, as demonstrated by the above reply 😂 Read the reviews for clones on Fragrantica. Even bangers will have someone commenting how it smelled like a urinal cake.
I just got Al Haramain Amber Oud Exclusif Bleu and it's the best clone of Layton. Better than Detour Noir. Just more expensive ($60-70$) better performance and projection
@@gavindiamond2731 no the amber oud bleu is the BDC clone... blinkin confusing calling them similar names but the exclusif is the one that's close to pdm layton
Chaos is the absolute No 1 best fragrance channel out there . Thanks 👍 Keep up the great reviews PS Can anyone advise where I can buy Perladore from online / delivery to the UK ?
These clones will save you money and give you considerable satisfaction Bt they don’t last long and projection is low. I’ll recommend asad( on my second bottle), oud for glory and my all time favorite Ameer Al oud( clone of by the fire place). God bless you all, and thanks Chaos fragrance.
Hey! where do you go for information to learn about/find these clones? some of these ive never heard before and im very intrigued to learn more, thanks!
Great video. But these videos must have been recorded a while back. Alot of heavy hitters have taken over . Especially ysl tuxedo, angelshare, and others.
Thank you so much for these kinds of videos! I live in a place where it's hard to get decants of the actual frags and even harder to get the actual bottles!
CAN YOU PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU SEE ANY UPCOMING SALES OR A GOOD DISCOUNT ON BOND NO 9 LAFAYETTE STREET? Been trying to snag that one for a good price
If you don't need to buy retail, check out fragrance groups on Facebook. There are several groups where people trade/sell fragrances. Just do your homework since you can get scammed.
Excellent video for people just getting into fragrances that may not have the high budget to splurge on the more expensive designer or niche fragrances...I've got a couple I use if I don't want to use up my OGs...🌟😃👍🙏
no, don't agree that Asad has the liquorice note that elixir has... smells fairly close but makes me feel nauseous after an hour of wearing once the vanilla note disappears as it smells cheap... i know it is cheap but save your money and just buy elixir as it smells a lot better and it isn't cloying like the asad is
I've been wearing afnan 9pm for awhile and received many compliments saying that I'm wearing ultramale🤣up to now I'm not telling them I'm just wearing a clone not the OG fragrance
Haven't tried Lattafa Haayati but don't know why they'd make a clone of Hawas by Rasasi as 1) Hawas is a clone itself 2) it's dirt cheap as it is - you can buy it in Dubai from the Hawas store for barely £25.
I really appreciate the clone videos. Although I could afford to buy some of the authentic brands, I prefer to save money on fragrances to smell good. I work in healthcare and I certainly don't get a kickback for the shafting that people get for their medical care. So I appreciate this content and it gives me a good reference point to know what I can use and can't use at work. There are people that wear fragrances in healthcare, but with a lot of people wearing masks in my hospital and the fact that I sweat so much, I've never had an issue with the respiratory issues that people think come with strong scents in such a setting.
For YSL Tuxedo Spanish clone brand Divain has the best clone. I have both and am yet to spot a difference, scent wise or performance wise. This house has more than 600 (great) clones. 75ML for around 20€. And a great presentation and service.
I received turathi brown and mustache.. my nose prefers turathi.. the fragrance in mustache is too subtle for my nose that it goes nose blind in less than an hour, which is disappointing
Umm, I'm new to fragrances, and I need help... my wool sweaters smell like perfume for literal days after I spray something on them, is this normal? It's crazy
Does the haayati by lattafa have good performance? I literally just put hawas in my cart. I have heard hawas is a very mass appealing compliment getter.
Tres nuit and Detour Noir were so good that I literally bought bottle of Layton and Green Irish tweed because of them.. Considering Tom Ford visited Epstein island and has a net worth of $500 million I don't want to pay for any of his products .
Rue Broca is an Afnan subsidiary - and they make some cracking stuff too, most of it much cheaper than the Afnan branded stuff. Their clone of YSL Tuxedo is amazing, Penthouse it's called, black and silver bottle that looks like a USB stick. Really cheap and horrible bottle, but the juice is amazing and lasts all day long. For me it's much better than Suits, Tux etc and it's at least half the price.
Lattafa Asad is not that close to the OG . I've got both, and yes Asad definitely shares that DNA, but the Elixir blows it out of the water in regards to smell and performance.
I read somewhere turathy brown had arsenic in it so if that is true it is probably not good for you. Hope it doesn't and correct me if this isn't true.
Lattafa Assad honestly smells BETTER then sauvage elixir. Elixir smells too earthy in the opening to the point that it smells like soy sauce. Assad has a better smell to it.
