great concepts but they should make designs simpler. many new cars are complex irrational designs. they should be elegant and flowing. and add a front bumper like before.

make em as pretty as you like, but transport operators don't give a dam about how aerodynamic or sexy it looks, they want cheap replacement parts, best possible battery life/diesel usage. Also no point making the trailers look futuristic either, most companies out there will not buy these as they reduce cargo capacity.

Dont forget charging stations all over designed with a tractor pulling a 53' trailer in mind that can charge to full in 30mins or less. Any longer and it is a loss in productivity.

I am a truck driver and on most of the truck you shown are all well in good for airo but they're are 2 things the designers are forgetting. The trailer for the trailer to get loaded all the companies in the world would have to change there loading docks or way of loading. And 2nd how are the breaks applied or lights working on the trailers. Even on the Elon musk knows the tracker and the trailer needs to be connected besides the fifth wheel. They will need to have a air or just electric connection to have the trailer to work.
nope sorry you are mistaken. Think a little , years ago trains took cargo to places where they were offloaded to large trucks for final delivery. now Autonomous Trucks can carry cargo to distribution centers where smaller trucks can make delivery to final destinations. These smaller trucks need drivers. Making shorter runs so Drivers can be home at night and have a decent family life. More drivers, not fewer will be needed to accomplish this.

Im a car and driver man. I love to drive. My own mother dosent drive my car, why would i let some computer drive my car? The only computer that drives my car is the intelligent super computer that was made not by the imperfect hands of humans but by the creator himself. This is known as the brain. The human mind. The TEB will work in China. I don't see it happening in the USA. Far too many drivers here are not smart enough to stay in their own lane with 90 foot long 40 ton trucks next to them let slone that thing. If they see this in a rear mirror they'll think "I GOTTA GET OVER BEFORE IT BLOCKS MY WAY!!!" as they proceed to straddle the road's edge in front of the oncomming blade.
On the bus that drives over cars I don't see that making a big hit over here people would freak out all sudden something drove over the top of them that would be more accidents
I always wonder why American semi truck companies like Peterbilt, freightliner, international etc. aren't push out new concepts for trucks. Seems they aren't planning to advance the industry, they're already fat off crappy bulky fuel guzzling trucks on the roads. And I understand why the government has to step in at times.

Well I'd hate to take it down the famous I-40 in the United States if you run that truck under interstates you going to have to watch every pothole and if you don't have it at least 14 in of clearance on the chassis every doc you pull into you going to rip out the bottom looks cool for a wind tunnel the totally useless on the interstate
