How to create links in HTML | Basics of CSS | Learn HTML and CSS | HTML tutorial. In this lesson we will learn how to create links in our websites using HTML. HTML links are called anchor tags, and allow users to travel between sub pages, or to different sections on a page.

For you that cant make the "/pages/contact.html" work, he forgot to tell you have to add/href the relative file path to the subfolder/stylesheet using "../" Put this in head.

You can even put in links from different websites in anchor tags. Just type the URL in the href attribute.
