This is a tutorial on cutting and fitting a 12 inch branch T test for pipeline welding. the pipe used is standard 375 12". thank you .I remember may father working as fabricationshop fitter pipe. he had been worked at PB refinery copany since 1954 till 1993.in yemen ADEN . now .this vidio stirs his memory .thank you again little ADEN yemen.

I thought they gave you a template to mark the pipe with when you go to take your branch test?

Sometimes they do. This is how to do it without a template though. Some companies won't let you use one.

the formula is written on the table at the beginning of the video but if you want me to draw it out for you youll have to look me up of fecebook and i will shoot you a copy

shame you couldn't cut and bevel in one hit. Look out, in a few months time we should be releasing a product that will allow you to do pipe branches and mitre/ lobster bends cut/ bevel/ SAW/ MMAW welds without all the faffing about. It should reduce the overall process down to about an hour, max.
