Or just grow a dwarf banana. I bought one in a 4" (10cm) pot at the grocery store 17 years ago. I generally have several of them in various states now. They get to be a little taller than a person including a large pot on rollers.
Curious what you mean specifically. I trim some leaves off, and once they flower, that's when I am unsure. Was thinking I should cut the flower off and see if I canget them to make a few hands of bananas vs 1 good one, one finger sized bunch, and one tiny bunch. @@poisxe
