What I loved about Obi-wan that he always trained to raised his skills. Also it is very important that he learned Humility. Obi-wan overcame his cockiness something Anakin never really did.

Obi-wan Kenobi in my view is the Quintessential Jedi. Whenever the name is mentioned, I'll always think of him. I'll never forget reading the Jedi Apprentice novels.They'd showed me the man and how he eventually grew up to be. The prequels do irk me in the sense that TPM and ATC really didn't showcase this growth. It is this reason why I want an Obi-wan anthology film. This character played such a vital role in the mythos. To me, he's a character who should have been the focus in the prequels as Obi-wan is the merlin of Star Wars.

Obi-Wan has to be one of the best star wars character. I genuinely felt sad for him in episode 3, watching him fight a student and friend that he loved. Not enough people understand how great of a man Obi-Wan was. He also happens to be incredibly talented in the force and saber skills.

The counsel had "doubts and fears." Something they aren't supposed to do. Had they trained Anakin correctly and supported him. He wouldn't have turned on them. Yoda isn't nearly as wise as he seems if I'm smarter than he is.

I loved this book series when I was a kid so much. The author did a good job of portraying Obi-Wan as an apprentice.

I didnt know much of Obi-Wan's back story, but I did figure that he was arrogant and maybe a slight troublemaker when he was young. I don't know about anyone else, but when I was a kid, Obi-Wan was kind of secondary. It wasn't until Ewan McGregor's performance in the prequels that I gained a lot more respect for Obi-Wan. Ewan McGregor has added so much to this iconic character, and I hope when they make an Obi-Wan anthology, they make it not only fitting of the character, but worthy of the man who plays it. I am happy to hear Disney will make a Qui-Gon anthology. Even though he's only in one film, he is my favorite Jedi. My only hope is that it's not some random story. I would like them to do a Qui-Gon trilogy that tells of how he met Obi-Wan and follows their time together as Master and Padwan, ending about a year or so before the events of The Phantom Menace.

Obi-wan Kenobi is a prime example of what the Jedi should be, he’s a prime example of what a teacher should be, calm, collected, empathetic. A true master who wasn’t just gifted his skills by fate, he trained hard and kept training until he became great. Showing that anyone who puts in the work regardless of natural talent or skills, if you put the work in, anyone can become a true master of their craft.
