Sono russa e ho guardato molti video su come imparare il russo... è interessante vedere che differenza c'è tra studiare russo come la madrelingua è come una lingua straniera.
I love how everyone tells their experiences with Italian and why they want to learn it so I'll tell mine: I was first obsessed with french and going to Paris, but french was too hard and after watching Eat, Pray, Love I just felt for Italy and the language, it's so beautiful (and similar to spanish which helps me a lot) so Im just tryna learn it fast so I can speak it fluidly and feel romantic even tho no one I know speaks Italian ao I'll just talk to myself and my gf who does not understand a thing I say :/
@@abrilgiosa3134 Only if you want to be fluent in a superficial way. If you want to discuss any topic with a native speaker it takes years of practice and studying. Periodt.

Unless you're a genius who can master a language like native speakers and perfectly blend among them within some months, it's simply how serious language learning works for the average person. Again, unless you're extremely intelligent, namely part of 0.1% of the world population. Am I so lucky to have one in front of me right now on yt? Maybe, but it's very unlikely. See it's all about probability? If you are, good for you, then I'll wait for you to come back here in some weeks to discuss philosophy in Italian, otherwise see you in some years.

I love watching Italian channels, I haven't heard of these yet, but I am curious to watch a couple of these. canali io segiui: Space Valley - they are funny guys and they have a fun accent (being from Bologna) to follow. Ricette delle nonne - lovely food and a lovely family making it. casa surace - difficult at times but very funny. Valerio Giuggi - Veterinario Specialista. - Not the greatest on camera, but a subject I know well in English so this helps me.

my grandparents were from Italy they passed when i was very young and was never able to catch their language my parents did not hold on to it and we've been in the US for many years i took an entry level course of Italian in college but it was very simple i really want to learn to speak fluently in Italian i know a bit but some word i have to read with subtitles

i like something in "easy Italian " channel and i hope if it can be applicable ,they write the spoken sentence in both Italian and English language , which help the viewer to listen and read in the same time

Although I'm still learning I run a small conversation group and have been looking for some short videos so we spend some time listening to real Italian - rather than inadvertently copying each other's mistakes!! Grazie, Lucrezia! I would also recommend Manu Venditti's channel "Italy Made Easy" -- lots of Italian-language-only, dual-language, with-subtitles-and-without, varied content and instruction. He offers courses on a separate site, but his free RU-vid videos are charming, clear, informative, and great for listening practice.
I love Massimo Polidoro's channel. He speaks so clearly that I understand him as if he was speaking Portuguese. :) The other channel I watch sometimes is Danielle Doesn't Matter's. I used to watch Breaking Italy but do not any more.
