Great video as always! I’ve been looking at some 3k gts but there are literally 0 for sale where I live (Finland). I would have to ship one from the US which would be way too much of a hassle. On the other hand many EU cars such as the e46 can be found for sale with great prices so I would like to see you do a deep dive on them.
i'm hoping to buy an MR2 as my first car in a couple more months...I've been wanting one for years now. I'm glad to see it get the recognition it deserves. It's one of the best looking cars ever made IMO.
Bought my eg hatch for only $1500 running and driving it has some wiring issues I'm gonna fix go through her this winter and hopefully be able to daily her in the spring
Evo 7 are pretty cheap. But the Evos 8 and 9 are just under the price of a new WRX, which may still be justifiable. S2000 are unfortunately more expensive in Canada it seems, I’ve seen 23K$ CAD, but for a track only car. And a note on the GTO/Stealth… well it’s a Chrysler collaboration car with cool electronics that’s 30 years old now… aka, it’s probably ready to break down… but also it was Mitsubishi’s answer to the NSX, GTR, etc… so pretty cool car
Hi Mark Always Excellent videos! 2 questions. 1-what generation Honda Accord would you recommend for Less than $10k? Hopefully 70k Miles or less? 2- What is the easiest way To add like 50 horsepower To a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee ? Thanx man!!!!
Probably late years 7th gen (2006-2008) Accord, or in North America, the Acura TSX (the better Accord). For a V6 Cherokee, sell it and buy a V8. For the V8, cold air intake, larger throttle bodies and larger exhaust, or a higher lift/performance camshaft and a retune. But that’s just guessing (I don’t actually know whats cheaper or easier to install… but buying a trim with a better engine is *almost* always cheaper for power than dumping money on the “economy”/cheaper engine)
@@sehajkaler9285 HI, Thank you for the info! I think that it makes sense to get the Acura! I have the Cherokee as an original owner, 60k miles. I would like to keep it because 4WD, and it has been very reliable. Has I believe around 200 HP, but I think it needs a bit more, but not the biggest deal, Appreciate you!
This list doesn't really hold up well for The Netherlands. I am looking for these 4: a miata or a Honda prelude or 3000GT or a 240 SX. These last 2 are actually one of my dream cars. but sadly you either pay plus 10k or more for a model with 200k-300k km or get someone else's project car... both of the options are just sad too see. I've looked for over a year now for all of these cars and yet I couldn't find something under 8k-10k in a somewhat useable state. I don't mind working on the car and I am not going to give up the search but it's just sad to see these prices go up even tho the condition of these cars are not worth it. I probably end up with a prelude but I really wish that I find one of the other 3.
Great video! I went straight to look up cars while watching this just to see if there are any of these offered by dealerships. Yes, I shop at dealerships, not facebook marketplace. I don't wanna worry about loosing my life or money in a scam, or fighting over a car title. With price markups of roughly 20 percent though, would you personally ever buy from a dealership?
@markroden oh same, I've been looking high and wide for a good Z at a fair price. Mainly around 8-9 it's hard. Alot of them tend to be absolute rust buckets with miss matching paint, or an automatic. I have nothing against auto. I love em but I rly want it to be a manual.
Hey, ive been looking into buying a car, for now I am likely to go with a new gr86. However I want to understand the resale market for cars and where you find all these cars being sold and how to buy them.
That Man had LEL FWD on his license plate.....when are people going to start respecting different drive trains And their advantages....Its mainly Americans too that have that problem 🤷🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️ there's less drivetrain loss because the drive shafts are shorter and there's weight over the drive wheels that help with traction in certain cases....there😢Pros and Cons to every drivetrain....The Drift King has beaten AE86s And Silvias in An EG6 its all up to technique 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
I think his might’ve been awd idk but I totally agree, I have an Integra and 350z, the z is fun to mess around in empty parking lots with but the Integra is much better for handling
