All its missing is a stobe light feature! I'm looking for a moving party light like these. Something that's colorful, reacts to music, and be easily controlled. I'm not sure what DMX is.
DMX stands for Digital Multiplex and is how lighting is primarily controlled in a professional setting. As for the strobe feature, this light will automatically strobe in sound active mode and auto mode.
@@croissantproductions Ooooo so it does have strobe lights? Is it something I just plug into a wall outlet and it turns on and can straight up react to the music? It'd be nice if it had a small remote to control a couple of things. I'm not really interested in having to program them. Pretty much plug n play.
You can manually control the light with the display on the front but the only other way to control the unit is through DMX. Not sure exactly how heavy it is, but it’s around 10 lbs.
@@croissantproductions Oh awesome, also I’m not a DJ, I’m a college student and I just want a light to use for parties and stuff. Would you recommend this for someone who just wants to take it out once every so often and put it on the ground or mount it to the wall to have an epic light show during a party or event? And if not, what sort of lights do you recommend for this purpose? Also does this light or any ones you’ve seen react to music? Like change direction or light output based on the sounds it picks up?
@@dragginforce Definitely! It’s decent for the price and fills the room with bright lights. Like a lot of other lights, It will do its own lightshow to the beat of the music so it’s great for parties
There are realy 10w per each LED? 3w to one color? Did you test it on wattmeter? I have many disco light systems where declared watts not equal with real power consumption. 12x3w in reality = 7w 36x3w in reality = 32w. When I ask seller - “Why?”, they answer - “We less power to diode safety”. Wery interestin what real situation in your device.
I got mine from Ebay. You can search “120w RGBW LED Double Moving Head” or whatever and it should come up from lots of sellers. It’s usually around $170.
