Hey Nessa, I just squeezed a bit of lemon juice on it. A good dressing to make and have on hand would be. 1/2 cup olive oil 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar or lemon juice 1 table Dijon or seeded mustard Salt, pepper.... shake and done! We last a while and will cover you for 4 - 8 salads depending how much you put on. :)
Hi Steph and Adam! I recently found out I can no longer eat beans regarding digestion issues! :-( so bummed! Do you guys have a recommendation for replacements? I love all of your recipes and have been making them without beans but if you guys have a substitute that you recommend I would appreciate it! ❤️💕
Hey Silvia, wow that’s unfortunate. I mean you could use tofu if you can handle that. Or just add more vegetables like broccoli and carrots and even potatoes :)
Hey.hi. you can soak beans overnight with ginger, lemon or ACV and cook it for longer time. Or else you can use lentils .Also soak and cook similar manner to avoid digestive issues.
Sweet potatoes or cookable seeds like quinoa or buckwheat groats. Farrow? Seeds are high in protein too and will add bulk to your food in place of beans and they aren't like adding more starch like rice or flour.
One question , how safe is it to store these in a fridge for 6 days , are the last two meals a bit dodgy with the rice sitting there for that long or is it still safe ?? Love this channel 🙂
No dressing per say. I have been eating it as is with a squeeze of fresh lemon. A good dressing is; 1/2 cup olive oil 2 tbsp lemon juice or red wine vinegar 1 tbsp Dijon or seeded mustard Salt, pepper, shake and done :) Will last for 4-8 salads depending on how much you use :)
