Cut costs of transportation 8. Have a side Hustle 9. Don't buy school supplies off campus 10. Find free and cheap activities 11. Don't party every weekend 12. Watch your utilities carefully
these were some great tips! I have one thing to add, though. Being an RA will drastically reduce your living expenses, at least at my college. RA's get housing, a meal plan, and in 2022 they got a $200 per month stipend. I don't know if the stipend will go up or down by the time I'm old enough to be an RA, but with the high cost of living in Colorado it saves you just over $8,400 per semester
I'm surprised that the library wasn't mentioned. Library reserves have saved me so much money and I save money on entertainment with their free ebooks, audiobooks, and movies on their own streaming services.
