@@juneyshu6197 I was a reenactor, beating up Romans, once a day and twice on the weekend. The 14th Legio are a bit of a bunch of po faced gits, with ramrods up their bums types. I suppose being a Roman attracts them.EM I broke one, I fell on him from about twelve foot up after getting my feet tangled, broke his collar bone. He was really pissed off, someone had to disarm him. I don't think I helped, trying not to laugh and not succeeding! Our glorious leader, Sapper phoned me at the pub we were drinking in, and in no uncertain terms told me I wasn't to break any more Romans. The Romans took it all deathly seriously. We Britons realised we were getting paid to play at battles like we did as kids. We found that what we were doing was utterly ridiculous, and a long way from our day jobs. 🙀
Poisons and medicines, are a question of point of view. To help with Atrial Fribulation, you will be prescribed very small doses of an extract of foxglove plants, Digitalis is given in miniscule amounts. Which actually in very low doses, lowers the "irritabilty" of heart muscle. Slowing and strengthening the heart contractions.
Everything they find was made with rocks, copper chisels, and bone tools. And sticks, did I forget sticks? All of it. And Im the Queen Of Sheba. Plus a millionaire with boats and planes in my yard. On Mars.
