Yea ! It seems there is a lot of Russian history nobody has told us . Here we were all proud of the Manhattan Project in 1939 ... we should have talked to our Russian allies . Seems it was old hat to them already .
Pipes in most Native American Tribes were not only used by Shaman they were used by anyone who was spiritual. The smoke from tobacco carries prayers to the Creator. Animals were appreciated and considered revered as they sustain life and survival skills can be learned from them. An Owl has various meanings, but in oral lore it represents wisdom and is considered a watcher. Some tribes believe if one visits you it means to be wise and careful because danger of death is near. During times of the Mound builders and Cahokians tribes would meet and trade materials. Most pipes used for daily prayers would made from whatever material available. Rare materials would be used to create rare pipes for special ceramonies such as walking on to the Spirit world. Owl pipes would be smoked in passing rituals and remembrance.
I think I'd rather you do these videos, then the guy who does them. He seems like he talks down about anything that doesn't fit into his little bubble of belief.
They didn't have corn in Orkney 2000 years ago. Corn is from the Americas. More likely it was grains such as wheat and barley so they could make bread.
"In British English, corn refers to any type of cereal plant growing in a particular area, for example wheat, barley, or maize. We drove past fields of corn. Speakers of American English use grain for this meaning." ---Free Dictionary.
@@jelink22 Free Dictionary . Where historical facts are checked by internet historians. Free dictionary was not around then , neither was British English and as the original poster said .. No corn.
It is tiring to read endless comments from Americans «there was no corn back then». Americans please take note, in England «corn usually means wheat and what you call corn is called maize.
@@isabelled4871 Brits please take note, you got that shit completely ass-backwards. I'm kidding, I love the UK and don't care what anyone calls particular cereal grains.
@@scholbe well, I'm only sure about nuclear weapons not being around in 1874; I didn't look up anything in 1974, so I couldn't tell if there were any blown off.
Grinding corn in the Orkney Isles 5,000 years ago??? Corn, or maize, was indigenous to the Americas and introduced to Europe by European explorers 500 years ago.
I am most curious about that bible that seized by the police. Does anyone else have anymore information on it? I’ve seen and read and heard about it before but not much more than what was mentioned in this video. It definitely has me curious to know the true story behind it.
I love it Russian miners find a dead cat and they think it's a dinosaur. Also when referring to the grinding stone you said that they would primarily use it to grind corn did not exist in Europe at that era corn originated from the Americas.
I wish Karens wouldn't call everyone Nazis, but seems rather unlikely to happen. And yes, we all see what you're doing. (referring to Karens in general I mean)
WTF?? What is wrong with you? Why are you just randomly slandering this guy’s name and channel? What the hell did he do to you? You’re clearly off your meds..
