julio. there never has been such a mierda, merde regime that qualifies for a pseudo democratic flawed hell for its own citizens.... no great wonder, possibly the inspiration for **handmaids tale** is the islamic republic of iran or a religious dystopian republic not dissimilar**..
saudi arabia and iran both think they are world super powers, both think they own islam, both think each other, are part of some worldwide conspiracies ....that is why they are the greatest of enemies...despite the peoples suffering...each of them, scream at each other in arabic and farsi ...
I am an Iranian and have visited many countries. No one will ever understand, but Iranians so genuinely are intrigued and interested on foreigners and love to learn about foreigners. It is really the legacy of the Persian empire that tried to incorporate all other nations offerings in their system.
And also its years is diffrent to jesus timeline and stuff we have 2 types of timelines we have the suns and we had one when we had the king and plus it also so freaking old bro
PAUL ROSE can't you deal with the fact that there are white people that actually have nothing against Iran? And just to let you know, as a german i have nothing against them. And stop insulting other europeans.
Romina, you do realize that Iranians are “white people” too, yes? They are of Aryan heritage. Your statement sounds incredibly ignorant. Please restate.
As Malaysian, we're lucky to be able to get to Iran visa free. We have a lot of Iranian here in Malaysia too because it's visa free for them to visit Malaysia too. And yes, they're super truthfully friendly! Would love to visit their country one day to experience culture, history and nature (mountains and desert), thanks for the extra info. Subbed. I do hiking and travel videos too :)
Yeah I heard about that! Met a couple of Iranians that did an internship in Malaysia :) And I would love to visit Malaysia one day, been in Singapore, but not Malaysia. Do know I would love the food!
Have a great time, hope you get to meet some Iranians and talk to them! If you like chicken, try the Joojeh torsh, it was my favourite food I had in Iran :)
I am an iranian in Germany and I am a little bit patriotic. But David Bakker says the people are very nice which is true but if you talk to everyone you'll get robbed eventually. The tarof thing is true this is an exaggeration of politeness but scammers are everywhere. One thing: I suppose you are a woman becauss of your name. You don't need to wear a burqa but you need to covermost of your body and you need to wear a hijab. You can show your hair tho
I would absolutely love to visit Iran! The people are kind, generous, have a great sense of humor and curious about strangers. And they love to talk. Most importantly to me, they are one of the most attractive peoplle in the world. I suspect I would find many reasons to stay once I was there, hanging out in coffee bars, making new friends, visiting many places - I suspect it is the place to go for many good reasons. Are visas easier to get if you are Canadian? I'm Canadian.
Actually, if you are a dual citizen, I encourage you to travel with your non-Canadian passport. Getting Iranian visa for Canadians is more difficult than perhaps any other nationality, beside Americans. Main reason is the hostility of the Canadian government against Iran. Since our spineless hypocritical Canadian government closed the Iranian embassy in Ottawa (under the pressure of Israeli and Saudi lobbies and their lackeys), getting Iranian visa is difficult for Canadians (you actually need to get the Iranian visa via Pakistani embassy in USA!!)...Besides, citizens of USA, Canada, UK, and Australia are not allowed to roam around Iran freely. They either need to travel as part of a tour, accompanied by an Iranian government agent, or be sponsored by an Iranian citizen. The reason is historically, many English and American spies have done terrible things in Iran. If you can obtain a European (or any other) passport, then it is best to use that so you can roam around Iran freely.
@@tosansimorgh2975 It is great that you conveniently fail to give the real reason for the deterioration of relationship between Iran and Canada. Unless you are suffering from Alzheimer, you fail to mention that Zahra Kazemi, a dual citizen of Iran and Canada (If I remember her last name correctly), was brutally injured by the revolutionary forces in Iran by a kick to her head, while taking pictures in front of Evin prison (to the best of my memory), and then was tortured in Evin prison and was murdered there. Next time instead of blaming Israelis, Saudis, Nelson Mandela and Mother Theresa, have a look at the brutality of the security forces in Iran you hypocrite. No response would be read as you are a liar and have no conscience in telling flat out lies.
thank you for such a great video and thank you again for choosing Iran i wanna add something to this video which is :👉👉 YOU CAN COUNT ON LOCALS FOR EVERYTHING👈👈 literally everything ( specially those who can speak English)
I can confirm this... I myself have helped a lot of foreigners around the area I live in, even though I could've easily just walked away. We usually choose to help. It's just in our nature by default.
Hello. I am so happy for this good vlog about my country.most of the people are educated and kind.cities are clean.and foods are sooo delicious. And here is safe. Come and visit Iran.we will be happy😊😊🌸🌸🌸
I was in Iran around 2005 during Ramadan FABULOUS the people, architecture, scenery, food. Note I put people first in the list. I was in an organised group but we had free time and we moved around very openly on our own including late at night. The tour travelled around the country including a domestic flight and staying in a caravanserai. Just loved it .. so much that I hope the secret doesn't get out about how wonderful this country is so I can go back again and it hasn't changed!
We are glad that you enjoyed your travel in Iran. And i hope that the situation in our beloved country is improving, so that tourists can travel more easily and enjoy that. Respect and Love from Persia❤️
I am Iranian resident in India. Your presentation is very good. Well done. One needs to know however that Iran is a plateau (second highest after Tibetan plateau), with average height of 1200 meters above the sea level, and has four seasons, also has many different climatic zones. In the center of Iran, in summer, it is hot and dry, but in winter it becomes bitterly cold with heavy snow fall, even in region of Yazd and Esfahan, so take your warm coat and boots with you if you visit Iran in winter. Iran, unlike the common views, is a very mountainous country. Alborz high mountain range in the north and Zagros mountain range in western Iran. Many parts of Iran are like Ladakh Himalaya région in India and one can go for long hikes in these mountains. Desert areas are in the center but it does snows in the desert in winter.
Awesome , Thanks for sharing some facts about my country , As Iranian have been living aboard almost 15 years I wish you had great time in Iran .I hope your friend and ppl who are planing to go to Iran soon inspired by watching this video ....
True the Persians are the friendliest people and their culture and food are amazing ❤️🏴❤️ lived in Esfahan for over 7 years a very beautiful city 🏴🌱🏴
hey david, precise and on point dude, nothing you said was out of place and i think you really and truly did get iran and her wonderful people. thank you x
Thank you so much! It really was an experience, and I'd love to go back to your amazing country with even more amazing people :) I haven't seen enough of your beautiful country, haven't eaten nearly enough Joojeh torsh and haven't met nearly enough Iranians :)
David Bakker you’re right man, if you go from the north to south and west to east of iran you would see so various things that differ with eachother, the climate, language and accent, people faces, their foods and cultures, and their whole lifestyle is different. hope you get time to visit here again❣️
This is what a Jewish man had to say about Iran after visiting. It's his favorite country and people. facebook.com/drewbinsky/videos/1814234718613449/?hc_ref=ARQRX4oCz1bYkf2oVFv0YXVsk3UvrRVmdd8iB6XTLJeK4uKanWAVLHg8srbRJg_w1Pc
Paul Rose you might want to learn to read dumb ass. No one ever called you a Jew. And for your information, shit for brains, I am Christian not Muslim. But as I said Kosher/Halal/Jew/Muslim they are all the same.
Thank you! I’ll tell you a secret, Iran is the first country where as soon as I left I thought ‘I need to go back!’. Really, from all countries I’ve ever visited, the first. Maybe because I’ve only seen Tehran and know there is so much more to see
I've lived many years in Germany. I've never met any Turkish person I could trust or consider friendly. On the other hand all the Iranians I met were very friendly and polite.
You obviously are narrow-minded! There are good and bad people everywhere. In my experience, as an Iranian, I have met more of honest and trustworthy Turkish people anywhere I met them. However this can change based on the random people you come across. No one can say people of a nation are all good or all bad.
@@Leila.Allameh Your comment is just as ignorant as the other person!! He can't trust Turks and you think Iranian people aren't trustworthy.... Same kind of mindset!
wow, thank you. I met a girl while traveling in spain and fell pretty hard buuuuut she was traveling there from Tehran. We've been talking for months and I want to go visit her and her family but man the politics of it all sure do a good job of scaring me, I've only traveled to mexico, spain france and england. but everything she tells me makes it sound like such an amazing place. it's nice to see stuff like this up and making it not seem like as big a deal as I thought.
I'm Persian, i found Ta'arof very annoying :|, but my German friend who had visited Japan, once told me that the Japanese have similar customs in another way. Cheers!
Amazing video mate. Nicely out! I'm forwarding this to anyone who asks me for advice for coming to Iran. You just sawed me a ton of hassle. Seems your general audience are mostly well traveled, for those who are not i might have some additional tips to make their trip easier 1. Look up squat w.c. on y tube 2. Bring your own TP anywhere 3. Ask a local to help cross busy streets
Very informative, truthful and genuine video... thanks for not being one sided, biased and hateful. Hope you enjoy Iran and hope this video allows for more people to visit our beautiful country without judging it by the regime...
I loved Iran! It’s beautiful and the culture is so rich. The best part is that everything in Iran is from Iran. The most confusing thing for me was the money conversions. They say 100 tomaan (which is just a denomination that has no currency note!) but you have to just automatically understand they mean 1000 which is the currency note you’ll have to give.
Ta'arof in Iran is very common...I would say that it exists on almost everything. From entering a door, eating, or even paying for stuff you buy from the stores. Decades ago, there were a lot more store owners who would really treat you as a guest and not pay for your items especially when they know you're visitors, or even when your money wasn't enough...they will let you go without paying. They treat the guests there as 'God sent'. So for them, they will give you everything to make you feel comfortable and happy.
Hi David, I do appreciate you for making this video. You've done a great job to let others know about the mentioned points. I was just telling a foreign friend about some of the things you stated but when I came across with your video on RU-vid I preferred to share it with him :-). As an Iranian I have tried to help the foreigners know the realities about Iran because the western media has not broadcasted a positive and real image. Anyhow I wish you had great times here and you would be welcomed whenever you come back here again.
I’ve got family in Iran and from what I’ve been told, it’s true what he says about some apps such as Facebook or RU-vid not being available, but, you could access any app that has been blocked, by using ( app crashes) on your App Store! Shiraz is one of the most beautiful places that I have ever ever been to. Have fun visiting 🤗.
Thank u so much for ur assessment that u did about Iran. Most of them have been true and really appreciate for sharing ur experiences and advices to others.
You're very welcome! I wish more people would visit Iran and experience the country and it's people as it really is, not what the media says. That's why I made this video :)
Iran has made some drastical regime change 40 years ago, thats why there is some intolerance between previous and current regime supporters. The new regime may be better or worst but this does not change Iranian culture and people in general. I see some Iranian people in my town, %90 of them are nice and polite people. Most of them are well litterate, young people know English ( self educated mostly). Many of them have knowlege of art, history and literature. Did you ever see an American or other westerner who said that most famous things in his home town are poets X and Y and rose gardens ? These people actualy somehow had left for good their own place but most of them are proud with themselves and their country.
@@paulrose3171 Go fuck yourself with your " facts". Where do I mention something about religion? About Islam or some different religion . I said only Persian culture ( which itself is not so in Muslim contest)
Very interesting video about my country. I really enjoyed it. Thank you!!! I have a Dutch friend who planned to visit Iran some months ago but unfortunately he couldn't get visa. I would appreciate if anyone who visited Iran give me some information about visa stuffs.
Hello everyone, I'm an eighteen years old boy from Iran. At first I must appreciate this young man for introducing our beautiful country. There are few things you should know about iran. 1- iran is the cheapest country for foreign visitors, both dollars & euro have high value, for instance: One pizza with coca cola, salad and potato will cost 10 dollars. Or 10 night in best hotel's contain breakfast, lunch and dinner in cities like isfahan, shiraz or mashhad will cost 6000 dollars(I'm not sure that it's expensive or cheap, you can compare it with your country.) You can buy best clothes contain shirt, Jean, coat, tie and shoe only with 300 dollars. 2- iran is four season country, which means you can see different types of beauty in each season in iran. Also we have different weather in one day around iran. For example, in the august, in summer, we have 50 degree at the south of Iran, but if you go to (ardebil) in north west. You should turn on your cars heater! 3- iranian are really hospitable for you. If you come to iran as a tourist, you will be treated polite and kind. Despite economical problems and a dictator regime, they help you at all costs. you will never forget your travel to iran. Sincerely yours, Ali Kolahdooz. (Ali.Kolahdooz90@gmail.com) I am glad to help you :-)
thank you, David , I am from Iran and wanna explain to you why we like tourists. you are our guests and we love guests. and being a friend is also better than seeing a guest as a customer. by the way, you are a gentleman.
Without doubt one of the very worst video's it has been my misfortune to come across on all my year's on RU-vid...100% VILE!! What a shit heap of inhumanity.
Apparently Iran's 'Tourist Credit Card ' is the solution to the 'do I really have to bring a wad of cash' problem :) Haven't tried it myself, but sounds very convenient.
If you be able to open a a bank account, you can get a debit card along with it that allows virtually anywhere within Iran shop cashlessly. I know there are major banks' branches at the airport. That might be a good start.
Seems like to begin with, It was the bastard American oil companies and their stock holders that stole money from oil-rich middle eastern countries. If you don't know about this, study about it. US government is the one that finances and trains terrorist to cause instability in middle east. You wanna do something about all these problem, put your act were your mouth is running and take down your government that by far has surpassed the definition of dictatorship. By the way, Iran unlike any other country is very safe.
I haven't visited Morocco before! That would be a great place again to get rid of some prejudices and really experience what the people in Morocco are like :)
Oh someone please put a muzzle on that diarrhea infected dirty mouthed " @@paulrose3171" who's nothing but a lying piece of shit trolling for attention.
The Taarof thing is freaking confusing to everyone tbh. I’m Iranian but sometimes I genuinely can’t tell whether someone really means something or is just trying to be polite. But anyways, I’m glad you’re enjoying the country!
Iranian civilization is the oldest one n there hospitality is superp n people r very great nice astonishing..love from my side india.. n ther girls r the world most beautiful ones no doubth.mashallah.😍🤗
Hi David. very comprehensive explanation. Thank you. It was nice. I am one of those Iranian that every time see a tourist, get excited, have to ask them where they are from and say welcome. Hope to see you as well when you come to Iran again.
