Karen is still my favorite character even after 20 years. I just wish I wasn’t so young when I watched his show. she makes alcohol and no morals look fabulous.
Im going to be perfectly honest. I didn't watch "Will & Grace" for Will and Grace. I watched it fo Jack and Karen. My favorite two drinks at the mini bar.
*_"God didn't give me the ability to play the piano, or to paint a picture, or to have compassion.. but. he did give me the ability to crack a walnut with my hooha!"_* Makes me die laughing every time!!!
These clips just show you that this show was carried by Karen and Jack. Without them the show doesn't make it past season 1. Karen had to be one of the funniest characters of the era.
Maybe a tad harsh against Emmy Winner Eric McCormack and Emmy Winner Debra Messing. All four main cast members won Emmys for Will and Grace, and there are only two other sitcoms in TV history that can boast that: All in the Family and The Golden Girls. Period.
I honestly feel this show should be getting the same level of attention as Friends and The Office, or at least close to it. It's too good to be sidelined as it has been!
tbh I think it's maybe the audience - most of us are (I would guess?) gay and there are more straight guys around :)) but quality-wise it ABSOLUTELY isn't worse than Friends, sometimes I think the opposite
right...great comparison...irreverent ly irreverent...great sidekicks in Jack and Beverly....Messing meesed it up and got wayyyyyyyyyyy too much credit... need to do a spinoff with these 3
Will & Grace and Dharma & Greg helped me to survive my teenage years (They still do!). But it was The Nanny that made my childhood bearable. I just found out that there will be a reboot and now I can't stop smiling 🙃
As much as I adore Karen being the boss (and I do) someone needs to make a video of the best of the best of Jack and his Cher (doll) and impersonations (and jack telling Cher she is not doing her Cher hair flick right) those are the scenes I loved the most.
