I would recommend a portable fast charging power bank/charger when traveling since you don't always have access to open power plug in a random public space and it would suck if your phone ran out of power.
Most of the Thai people they do not use the Credit card anymore my friend, they just use the QR code to pay my friend and just use the digital wallet apps like PromptPay wallet apps to pay and the money will transfer to the seller bank account at realtime because they already sync their wallet with their Bank accounts and also sync with their phone number so you can easily transfer money to anyone in Thailand in realtime. And yes you can use digital wallets to pay at anything in Thailand such as malls, 7-11, any restaurants and also every street vendors in Bangkok. Promptpay wallet apps is the most famous digital wallet in the world and also has the most transactions in the world too my friend. For me as a Bangkok guy I haven't touch the real bank notes and also credit card for many years my friend just used the phone to pay everything or even top up the phone in realtime and pay any bills. For me I used the Promptpay wallet to pay at any malls and also any street vendors and used the True money wallet apps to pay at any 7-11 because there are a lot of free items from those wallet too such as I used the shopee pay wallet apps just to get the free Mcdonald Hamberger and french fried set and also KFC big set meals every weeks last year and they just want you to use their digital wallet to pay and nowadays I still used the TrueID wallet apps just to get the free soft serve at any Dairy Queen every week and also free soft serve at Any Mcdonald. Please do not encourage people to use motorbike taxis. As convenient as they are, Thailand has the world worst rate of motorbike accidents. You will see drivers with no helmet, steering with one hand and holding the phone with another, driving bikes with bald tires, broken tail lights, rear view mirrors removed. And if you ride one with no helmet that is illegal
