sir, i am quite frustated. please help me. As the space on C drive is too low (old computer), i selected a folder on E drive (extra SSD installed in the computer) for One drive. when i linked it with my One drive (online), it synced all documents. One of selected to be 'on the desktop'. whenever i make changes, nothing is uploaded. sometime, few files are uploaded but always a sing of two up and down arrows remain. When i open one drive online, i do not see any changes even after one hour. My question is that is it necessary to have files/folder in the' document' folder? please help me
I love how you are not thrown by unexpected results "just pretend it didn't find that file". HaHa A good lesson in teaching. Also liked "great question! I don't know".
I am moving my files to a new computer using onedrive for the first time.... It will absolutely not sync ANY of my PDF files... Everything else treansfered quickly & easily? I've looke donline & this seems to be a common complint, but I haven't found a solution. Any insights? Also, I used Nitro Pro rather than Adabe for my PDFs if than is important in any way.... Thank you!
Chris, great video, thank you for posting. Question- on your OneDrive view you show the status column as a separate column. Mine shows the check mark and status as part of the file name. I’ve tried to change the view on both desktop and online. How do I change my view to show status as a separate column?
Harry, open file Explorer, go to Details (1) and turn on Status Column (2). Let me know if that works. Here is a screenshot drive.google.com/file/d/1kLHw_GrkB9H-o2PnAYHGl4LB_ZG0vt-l/view?usp=drivesdk
Thank you Chris! Very clear information! I have one trivial but important question. After you create the personal and work accounts (white and blue cloud icons on taskbar), which of the two accounts (folders) should be accessed when you open (double click) the win10 OneDrive desktop app?
Great question. On my computer, where I have both OneDrive personal (home), and OneDrive for Work, my machine opens my Work OneDrive by default. Here is a screenshot in case someone is wondering what the heck we are discussing. :-) drive.google.com/file/d/1TvahiJSH8bA7vcRZ0scdEkj4NxNZrbsf/view?usp=drivesdk
