In this video, I'm showing you guys that, how to make a adjustable battery full charge indicator circuit for 6v / 9v / 12v battery.
It is actually working by using TL431 shunt regulator ic.
which turns on by giving refrence voltage from voltage divider, that includes a potentiometer which can set the cutoff point.
Part List_____
1) TL431 Shunt Regulator
2) 3x 1kilo ohms resistor 1/4w
3) 1x 4.7 kilo ohms resistor 1/4w
4) Red & Green Leds 3 or 5mm
5) 1x Schottky diode 1-3A

Thanks for the very helpful video showing how to make this full charge indicator! I’m wondering if a bicolor led could be used in place of the two leds, and how to calculate resistors needed to convert circuit for 17.2v to 22v charged Lifepo4 battery bank? Your help is greatly appreciated!

Sohottky diode 3amp I can use 6v.9v.12v battery as per I adjust potentio meter, if Tp431 getting more heat so what can I want to do?

Great idea. However, the voltage divisor may drain the battery too fast. How about using a 47k and a 100k potentiometer?

Hi, great video suppppper helpful! i have used this a few times now.. wanted to know what id need to change to make the charging light cut off at 4.9V and the charged light come on immediately from there..? Thanks bud
