I like how humble you are..your extremely talented yet 0 ego. Your journey is interesting to watch as you start surrounded by other players and slowly they disappeared to the point your at home still going working on your craft and wow your dedication and hard work certainly payed off..one hell of a good player.bravo 👏

It's awesome to see that your drive and determination as a youngster fed the feel and passion as you grew. As the skills developed, the passion was more easily conveyed, and we are the beneficiaries of all that. Thank you for being an example of what can be accomplished when you pour out everything you have and see it through to the end. But I can see and hear a new phase of your journey! So here's to the next 20 years!! It's all about feel now...so show us how you feel 🙏🙏🤘

Love this! it's the guitarist's full circle: start with the sweets obsession (Sweet home child of mine,) then Some heavy metal, then transition to super-fast mind-bending highly technical symphonic metal and then, the blues, but played with the feeling (fink ployd) and finally finding your own voice.

You have done amazingly well. The closest I got to being a musician as a child was turning a broken tennis racquet into a guitar at the age of 8. Couldn't afford even the most basic guitar till about 17. Back then there were no teachers other than classical (who were expensive and arrogant) and books were beyond dry and limiting. The last 2 decades has been revolutionary in opportunity for both acquiring instruments and learning. Now in my later life, have learned more from RU-vid, online teachers etc than in my previous lifetime before this era.

Love it! The floyd was so awesome! Could see you feel the Fender as you are one together. And you got so good quick really. Just perseverance, and lots of practice. I too started as a child. I was 11. Now I'm 39 going on 40. And have mastered pretty much all I can. Now it's just reading tabs to learn new songs. My capabilities are endless. And I dont stump on stuff now as I did when I first started. I went through the guitar aerobics book. It covers all styles, rhythm, and lead 365 days of training. A lick a day.

It's so nice that there's RU-vid to show your skills off to healp you get ahead in Music. WHen I was young all we had was the CB radio to set up jams meat girls and get keger party gigs. It was alot of fun when hundreds of people would show up at the keger gigs. Great playing - I like the more progressive lead playing that's what I did alot of in my playing time.

Fuck Clive, rarely did his rock school syllabus offer much to push talented players. I did not enjoy teaching a syllabus that had published a whole load of music theory errors in it. However for the players with the drive to go home and love their instrument as much as you clearly do, it can still be a platform for talent to emerge. This was a pleasure to watch for someone who has had to organise and perform as a tutor on many of those student showcase events, thank you.

It's amazing to see how much you learned, the songs you loved playing to and how far you've come from when you first started playing. I enjoy listening to what you make look so easy. I've tired playing guitar but just never had the talent to play guitar. But what I will say is drumming for some reason I found east to play. Which is what I've done for 26 years but self taught. Not a bass ass drummer but I can my own. Keep rocking and follow your dreams because you my dear are beyond talented.

I'm 11 years older than you. I started playing the guitar 1 year before you were born. I had phases where I practiced a lot but I had a down moment where I was more interested in high school parties and other things and now, you are leaps and bounds better than me. I took lessons for 11 years but, you have successfully outdown me and I had an 11 year headstart. You're hard work has paid off and that's why you THE Sophie Burrell everyone knows famously on social media. Your progress really is impressive. Good job

Well I was just flicking through RU-vid and wow you have grown into a great player for sure and never think of your early days as bad in any way because what ever style of music a guitarist picks to play and gets the chance to play like you later on in life to me it's all worth it. I myself look back at when yes you guessed it longer hair and a flying vee + marshall and at the time was great but as I got older playing covers gave me a better living with lots of travelling and famous people that I have been lucky enough to meet. Really great track for your first single and I will keep an eye on your career as hopefully you have tons of success with your music. If you would like to see a video of this old fella type in on RU-vid ROUTE 66 Shadows medley and you can have some fun watching us play and doing the dance steps to match the music it's a bit old but still may just make you smile. Cheers young lady and have a great career.

It's not embarrasing, it's charming :) And impressive too! Among good moments for me: I liked the encouraging smile of the bass player, as you were playing "Sweet child of mine", at the age of 12. At the age of 14, the butterfly seriously began to rise up, ... And later, 21 years old, the "comfortably numb" solo gave me goosebumps ... Nice, thanks for the sharing!
