True story, a long time ago, I use to tutor a little girl, her parents were from Hong Kong. They were genuinely nice people. One day, that little girl told me something that I never forgot. She told me that she was most happy when I came to tutor her, because I didn't force her to study like the other courses she had been forced to study from other tutors. With me around, she could be a kid again. She was only 8 years old and her mother wanted me to teach her computers. Poor kid.

I agree. A lot of kids have the ability to grow and it mainly determines on how they are raised. Pulling him out before he went to middle school was probably the smartest thing to do imo. If they are keen on learning. Yes kids would lose the ability to interact with those of similar ages but personally after going through middle school and high school. I can say outside of having friends, it really saps away one's curiosity to learn. Especially in high school where you are dumped with piles of busy work.

Imagine if every kid graduated college at 12 years old. That would give everyone much more time to pursue careers, experience mistakes, and enjoy happiness. Edit for clarification: I never said I supported child labor. I guess I shouldn't have exactly said "pursue careers" but instead just more time to figure out what you want out of life. Maybe teens after graduating at around 12 can intern and shadow at a variety of workplaces to see what real work and real life are like. 2-4 hours of shadowing someone in a safe environment wouldn't be considered putting a child through hard work. Graduating high school, OR college at 12, idc. I just meant less time spent in the dogwater US public school system where many feel their education is not done justice.

I've never really thought of working these years in a career you find enjoyment, I would hope to think someone would really prosper and flourish in all aspects of life than to be in high school, the more I think about it. Gospel of Jesus Christ John 3:16 For God So loved the world that he gave his only Begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him should not Perish but have Everlasting Life. Jesus Christ Died for the sin of the World, If you believe in ur heart God risen Jesus from the dead and confess him with ur mouth to people you shall be saved. Jesus said I Am The only way to heaven there is no other way! Repent of urs sins (Repent means Change ur Mind turning away from sinful things and being truly sorry for it.) trust Jesus and give ur life to him He Loves you cares about you more than anyone ever will! we are saved By Grace Trough Faith!,this is sin: Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death but the gift of eternal life in our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 3:23 For all have sined and felt short of the Glory of God. For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. Romans 1:18‭-‬21‭, ‬23 KJV Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 1 Corinthians 6:9‭-‬10 REPENT OR YOU WILL PERISH REPENT AND BELIEVE THE GOSPEL GET RIGHT WITH GOD LORD JESUS CHRIST IS COMING SOONER THAN YOU THINK TIME IS RUNNING OUT!.

At first im worried it might be the pressure from parents, especially in Asian culture. But according to this, sounds to me the parents really just did a great job with their decisions. Ingrain his name into your memory, look him up in a few years(and then perhaps a few more after that), and the chances are he’ll be doing well, but nothing absurdly astounding. You look at child prodigies like this, and then you actually think to keep up with them, and then it’s nothing special. Not that this is necessarily a bad thing-if they’re living as they wish, that’s perfect. But I’ve seen many instances like this, and then they make respectable, yet unnoticed lives as adults. Maybe this one will be different though 😅

@Raymart6543
@Raymart6543 Год назад
Really? If that were true, then many kids in the world would've attained degrees from the time they're 12 years old but why do you think it's not? Simple, because bonafide geniuses were *born* and built different. What you're saying is creating an environment to raise the child's intelligence ceiling but you never considered the fact how the *aptitude* of the child plays out. After all, not everyone is cut to be an academician and everyone has their own niche (yes, it counts even if they're just a child). What happened here in the video is a once in a blue moon scenario because you can never replicate that even if you became a parent yourself lol 😂
@fuelty69
@fuelty69 Год назад
@@Raymart6543 Because a child's aptitude is also influenced and shaped by his environment. Why is it often that children from scientists excel in science, or children from musicians excel in music? Let me be clear; I'm not denying that innate talent exists and plays a role in this because it certainly does, but the truth is that most of us were never given the chance to fully realize our potential. We were either burdened with limiting beliefs from a young age or lacked the guidance of mentors who would rigorously steer us in the right direction
@Raymart6543
@Raymart6543 Год назад
@@fuelty69 Exactly. I was just irked that OP said being a genius can be created by "effort" when in fact, all of us are geniuses in our own right anyways. No effort included. This is why I emphasized that geniuses were *born* and not "made". Its really just a matter of proper support but a social stigma became a certain norm at some point. The problem is, since the world looks up to people who have academic degrees or some sort of academic achievement, then they're the ones who gets to stand on a pedestal in comparison to everyone else. People who're geniuses in other facets of life were straight up being underappreciated because it isn't the standard of excellence that they're looking for in a social setting. By giving an example, geniuses of arts are appreciated in the world of arts but outside of that? They'll never get the same respect in the world of scholars as much as a renowned mathematician does, no matter where the mathematician chooses to travel. The problem is obviously glaring that you can notice how OP uses the word "genius" under the pretext of academic excellence and this is just one of the more examples out there. It's the ugly truth that no one wants to say out loud but oh boy, here I am.

Sounds to me they just got creative in stacking similar associate (emphasis) degrees to pad it to 5. It has the appearance of parents trying to get their kid on the news so he could put it in his resume for a real university.

Makes me think.. imagine if his potential was never realized because of a label (autism, adhd, etc.) a teacher strapped onto him at an early age. He’d still be in middle school, completely clueless of his potential. This is good to see.

This guy must’ve been stressing but hopefully all that stress and hard work had paid off. This achievement is nothing to scoff at especially at 7 friggin’ years old! Congrats!
