For anyone who has some 'issue with pitties', they need to watch videos like this to really see the interactions with humans. And get a true sense of just how wonderful and loving this breed can be.
Unfortunately this one video proves nothing. Every year Pit bulls severely maul and kill more people and innocent pets than all other breeds of dogs combined. Well over half of those attacks are on their owners, their children or someone else known to the family so save the "It's how you raise them" tired old line. No one is raising their own Pit to attack and kill themselves or their kids. Pit bulls have been bred for generations for violent bloodsport to kill other dogs and were never meant to be family pets.
At 1:34 Where the Dad says “I’d do anything for him “ literally brought tears to my eyes. I wish every dog had a dad and mom like these two. I wish all the best in life for this family
@@PresidentHedgehog7956 Should be, but, sadly, sometimes isn't... but sometimes people get lucky enough to be able to adopt dogs from not-good homes, and the dogs are also lucky enough to join a loving family as an essential member, so I'd say it's lucky all around. Lucky when 'dog' people are able to offer a good home to those who need one, shall we say?
It took 2 years for my shelter cat to "decompress". She was my angel, I had her for 16 years. At my wedding I had a wooden carved picture of her at my Remembrance table with my grandparents and my husband's father. She was my angel. It takes time and sacrifice, and they give it back exponentially.
If these are pit bulls, they are a danger to kids, women and the elderly, they have killed innocent people, don't normalize these animals as pets. It's almost monthly I see a news report about another pit bull biting someone who ends up losing a limb or their life.
What a great family. This couple is a perfect example of loving pet parents. I'm so glad that both dogs were taken into and made a part of such a wonderful home.
I absolutely love how cuddly they are with each other. I had a rottweiler who thought he was human lol. And he thought he was really small and tried to sit on my lap all the time. I really miss my dogs so much. Peace and love to you and your family 💜❤💜❤💜❤
Nothing cuter that a large dog that “knows” they’re a lap dog. You can’t convince them otherwise 🤣 dog are wonderful animal very reflective of the humans around them
Yep ,me too Mt beautiful rottweilers Apollo always trying to sit on my lap .I got him at three weeks weighing one kilo .He grew into my giant first baby boy I miss you Apollo xxxxx
@@delfin7461 Same reason a Grizzly bear thinks a man is its dad. When they are small , The Human seems bigger than life . as they grow up that doesn't change They still think they are small & you, The big Dad or Mom. . Reason they can work with a Grizzly bear without being eaten.
@@ws90ninety Any 4 legged people can be turned into a killer it's all about how they are raised and treated from birth...There is No Bad Dog (4 legged people's) There are Bad Parents/owners and myself I hate the word owner because all these precious Babies are More of a Blessing to us than they realize I think...
I am just absolutely blessed watching this video with all the love shown to ALL PARTIES INVOLVED what a TRUE BLESSING Thank you for sharing this video!!! I just wish there were alot more like this one on here...Are Bear and Chuy Mastiff breeds by the way???
Pit bulls are beautiful animals! We rescued our Pit(ty) Case and she is the best! So if you are looking to get a dog, rescue a Pit bull they need love too!
Pits are so lovable when they haven't gotten abused in evil peoples hands for fighting im so happy u adopted another one they will grow up to be each otbers best bud ❤ 💙 💖 ♥ 💕 💗 ❤
@@Jie67 No humans they were not selectively breed to kill. Some dogs were breed to work with livestock. Pit bulls were specifically breed by using different dogs that have physical attributes and behavior for fighting and killing. That is their sole purpose. Anyone who does not accept that truth is delusional.
@@winstonsyme5899 So how did this dog . Walling Bullyson 2xw 1xLoser produced a lot of dogs. How about Woods Snooty 2xw2xLoser. The APBT is the real pit bull not the dogs in this video. Dogfighting was a test for Game. Rather the dog won or loss just long as it proved Game .
I got a dog from a dog shelter and she took took between 2.5 to 3 years to finally come out of her shell. She was treated extremely badly by her previous owners. Whenever I've watched rescue videos it's always somewhere between 3 to 6 months for the dog to be full of beans and trusting of people. Our girl, Flora, took so long. It's amazing to see another dog took that long too.
Good to hear. I am very dubious of the stories where some self claimed dog expert gets a frightened or snapping dog to come out of their shell on the first visit, like that's all the dog needed so they'll be fine now.
I've been rescuing dogs and cats for 40 years. Each animal is different and responds differently to different people, and different treatment. Thank you for being so patient with your love! It's amazing how many times people have returned animals to me, because they're "too (fill in the blank)". My policy has always been that every animal should come back to me if they aren't wanted. Some come back so messed up, that they stay here forever! They're usually my favorites!🥰
It was the same for my Norma, a Mioritic Shepherd mix. She came to the UK from the streets of Romania. When she was found she had physical scars where she had been beaten by people who didn't want her around their homes/businesses, but her emotional scars ended up being much worse. It only took about 6 months for her to get over her fear of other dogs we'd meet on walks, she loved my other dog straight away (I assume the fear was due to other street dogs fighting her for food) but her mistrust of humans still remains today and we've had her for 4 years. She loves and is incredibly affectionate to the people she knows, but if a stranger we pass tries to touch her she screams (I say "scream" because it genuinely sounds like a human child screaming) and tries to bolt away. Even though she has a banner attached to her harness stating "nervous rescue, please don't approach me," people still do. We've had numerous behaviourists come and try to help her get over her fears, but I think it just takes time and patience and maybe she'll never fully get over them, but that's ok. She knows she's safe with us.
the more that people interact with pitbulls the harder it is for those bullshit stereotypes to exist. pitbulls used to be known as america's dog. it wasnt until dog fighting made a resurgence in the 80's that pitbulls became symbols of violence for gangbangers and tiny dick losers who fight dogs.
You 4 are the most adorable family. And, lady you’re blessed with the best “behaved” husband. Just married and supportive of your loving personality. 🥰
See, I'm not alone in thinking the four of you are so cool! You all love one another, that's clear. You all know you're loved, that's clear, too. And it's clear that we love you, too!
Pitbulls have the highest kill rate of all dogs. In 2020, pitbulls responsible for 72% of dog killings of humans in the USA. 55% involved killing a family member. In 2017, pitbulls killed 13,000 dogs, 5,000 cats and 20,000 horses and other farm animals.
Gorgeous dog. Had a Staffy, Molly, for 14 years... she was roughly 17 years old when her time came a month ago. Wish I had pictures of her as a pup, she was a fantastic girl whom I absolutely adored to bits. Sadly I only got pictures of her in her twilight years mostly, with the earliest image of her already greying. /sigh Miss you baby, so so much.
My sincere condolences on the loss of your beloved Molly. You must be a fantastic dog parent for her to have lived so long. The pain in your heart will ease eventually, but your love for her and your memories are forever. Elaine from Texas
I had a pretty similar experience to yours. A pitbull too. That was 1/4/21. My shepherd still looks for him sometimes and I think about him often. No shame in missing what you love.
Yes yes - beautiful, loveable, pooches..... but let's acknowledge and appreciate this young couple, 1) appear to be successfully navigating a marriage (never easy); 2) working 3..... THREE jobs (too many people can't cope with one); 3) successfully take on responsibility of a puppy; 4) find time and resources to rescue and rehabilitate a dog which needed a loving home 5) "got through" med school. I suspect there are some understandably mighty proud parents out there - pity we can't clone these two - the world would be a better place.
Well I'm sure it wasn't the video's intention the be negative so we don't know if they still live in a tiny apartment with two enormous young dogs. Nor do we know if she still works three jobs and if the husband works as well. Hopefully they are able to spend a sufficient amount of time with them. However, they certainly do love them and anything is better than being in the shelter.
That thing that happens when you rescue a dog that came from bad things and they figure out they are safe - that's so awesome! The bond feels different because they KNOW.
I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. Some words of comfort may help. God loves His animals too and we will see our animals again. They will be with us in the eteninty. Isaiah 11 among other Scriptures tell us this. God Bless you, when you're ready think about helping another one too, it will help you heal. Plus your pup would want that for you and the doggo. Good Luck hope you feel better soon..
I’m so sorry. I ve lost a few and know how sad and painful it is each time. But for every minute of grief, they gave us hours of joy. And with time, as the remembrance of joy begins to eclipse the pain of loss, we see our heart have become bigger and more open because of our relationship with these beautiful creatures and we decide to do it again. When you are ready there is another pup longing for your love and longing to give you his. Again, I’m sorry for your loss.
Two loving, adorable pibbles with two loving, adoring humans. So nice to see that your dogs' ears and tails have been left as nature intended❗👏 ❤ 🐕 ❤ 🐕 ☺
I guess I should say thank you for sharing your beautiful story (although I have tears rolling down my face). Your babies are beautiful and they reflect better than anything else what kind of people you are! I had almost 17 incredible years with my Precious the pit bull and she never ceased to amaze me! May God also grant you and abundance of years and memories! Thank you again!
Thank god Chuy found his soul family! Our rescue pittie Capone took almost 2 years to fully come into his own and trust us 100%. He did instantly love our 12 yr old atthe time pittie. She was his protector and teacher. When she passed at 17 yrs old as heartbroken as we all were it's like Capone aka Popo took on all of Bailey's awesome traits. Rescue dogs are the best! All of our furbabies have been rescues.
Aw, I had a Popo too! Short for Popogigio (we got his name wrong from Topogigio from Ed Sullivan show!). What a good boy Capone is and how wonderful Bailey lived to be 17!!! I'm sure she had a great life.🥲
Pibbles are literally the biggest little angel babies. My rescue girl is the sweetest most grateful dog I've ever had. Thank you for loving those big sweeties. 🥰
Like my Story. Got my Pit/boxer mix when he was 8weeks, he lives a spoiled life..then I rescue this 8 month old Pitt that was Being beaten, dehydrated, Emaciated (Starved) had 2 ears dripping in blood, lived on a 4 ft leash in the backyard (that's a very sort leash to live on) he didnt no how to walk down 1 step, didnt know what toys were, scared of carpet, walked in his own feces, he had to live on mud water, grass and dirt and was Very frightened of men and anyone raising their voice. Now, he is a Very happy, beautiful Spoiled baby, he's attached to my husband's hip. He wont let him out of his sight! When my hubby goes to work, he will sit in the window and wait most of the time. Hes so happy and playful and he love attention and to be Loved. I was initially going to nurse him to health & rehome him but he was our Blessing.
This video melted my heart. But it also shows the difference between having a dog you’ve raised since they were a puppy and a dog that you rescued. It takes time and patience. Thank you for being the best parents Bear and Chuy could’ve ever had!
Beautiful pups. Beautiful couple. This is the kind of video I need to see in morning to start my day - reminding me that there are truly good people in the world. She was going through medical school during filming. Can you imagine having such a compassionate person as your physician?
Thank so much sharing your babies with us. Our basement just flooded 4 days ago, really stressed getting everything back to order. But viewing your video makes me so happy, feel better and see what really matters. Love.
Double Delight! What a lovely find Chuy is, getting along with Bear right from the start. Long, happy healthy life to all four of you. Love in this family has conquered all..
You are so blessed. When Pitties get love and good treatment with training, they are possibly the best breed of family dog in the world. I am so glad to see how much have made them family.
Thank you for giving these sweet adorable babies a loving home. You can tell just by looking at them how much you love them. Pitties are some of the sweetest dogs ever!!
Y’all just make me smile 😊. I rescued a pit from the street. He’s big and intimidating so I hesitated to introduce him to my male Doberman. But they are the best of friends. They have been living together for over two years and Are inseparable. My pit had it hard too. I could tell he would fear when I would pick up a broom or a water hose. Now he can care less about either one. It’s nice to know I made a difference in his life. Congratulations on your beautiful dogs.
It takes special, wonderful people to get two of these pups to care for. One can be a handful and may God bless the whole family for being such kind ,beautiful human beings. Two gives many laughs and joy of course also, but is still a lot of effort at the end of the day. All the best.
They're both so sweet and beautiful! Thank you for loving them so much! I only wish ALL dogs were so blessed. God bless you and your adorable boys, and God bless all dogs. They're the best!❤❤
I'm so sorry you've lost your sweet, sweet boy!! You are such good people to take a chance on him and show him so much love, to give him a wonderful retirement his last two years!
Got a 4 month old black pit bull puppy in January from a shelter. I lost my other pitbull JaMatt a year and half ago. Now have Festus. We do everything together, he's a lot like Bear. Super active and can wear you out by the end of the day. Love your boys, they are wonderful.
All I have to say is AWESOME! You made my day and brought goose bumps and a tear at the same time! I had a Blue Nose named Kobe for 11 1/2 years that died in October 2021, and I was devastated, so sometimes I stay away from these types of videos, but I'm glad I took a chance. I was just afraid you were going to say one of them died at the end. Thanks.
Best buds for life..how incredibly special you have made life for these two love bugs.. I can also see how these special pups have enriched your lives…cherish these days…. and please share often!!!
So wonderful. I have a rescue Gray pit that was abused. She came into our home and her and my Rottweiler are best friends. She is so sweet and a little baby. Thank you for sharing.
