Hello! Great build and video. I have a question - how did you mount your psu so close to the top? I have the same case and can't install it as you did (to fit 140 fan below) as there is a pretty big connector in power cable inside.

Still a bit new to building computers. I bought this case and I will be adding the fans. Which direction should the airflow be on all the fans? I want to make sure I am doing it correctly. Any help would be appreciated

Hello!, just tomorrow the Q500L arrives, how is it going with the temperatures ?, I will use it with a Ryzen 7 3700x, I thought to put a Liquid Cooler and put the radiator at the bottom, what do you think ?, I have some doubts about the flow air, would it be better with the heatsink that brings the Ryzen 7, or if a Liquid Cooler would be fine? P.S. I have already seen several videos with this case, yours by far the best!

Dear Schetefan, ~@1:30 I see some kind of perforation on the front panel. Do you see same perforations on other sides too? Can it be removed and give a better airflow? Thank you!

There are the same Perforation at the top and botto. This cant be removed. In my oppinion airflow is more than okay. Im using a 8700k @ 5,0 GHz with rtx 2080 without any issues

just ordered this case myself and waiting for it to arrive, how well is the bottom 120mm fan? I feel like since there is not much clearance at the bottom it may struggle to draw air?

I have same case AND i have 2 nzxt argb 140 on top 1 nzxt 120 on back side for outtake . For intake 2 cooler master fan pro air pressure on Botton AND one the same on right side ( front ) . I can only say on Aida cpu stress test cpu tem its max 55 c .

Sieht gut aus. Kannst du sagen wie viel mm Platz noch zwischen Kühler und dem Sichtfenster ist? Bin unsicher ob mein Kühler mit 162mm Höhe noch rein passen würde.

@@alexs8456 hallo Alex, entschuldige die späte Antwort. Meines Erachtens wird das sehr sehr knapp mit dem kühler. Evtl kannst einfach das Glas mit unterlegscheiben etwas weiter weg vom cpu kühler anschrauben dann dürfts reichen :)

@@alexs8456 Kanns dir nur Empfehlen. :) Ansonsten kannst auch evtl die heatpipes, die oben raus stehen, etwas kürzen.

There is only space for one Fan on the top side. For this setup it´s more then enough. I play & stream with this PC on twitch on WQHD

I think you can but there is a variant of this case the q300l is for mitx and matx and the power supply stays at the bottom.

before the Q500L all my components were in a BeQuiet Pure Base 600 Case. The temps are more or less equal. 9900k should also work with enough fans. 2 at Front 1-2 bottom, 1 at back and 1 at top

Schetefan thanks for the reply. Would my 1000 watt PSU be able to fit? I really want to downsize but want to use as much of my current parts as possible then slowly transfer to a true itx case over time. And for my PSU what if I had the fan facing inside the case to pull out some of the heat?

@@Blaquegold its depending on the lenght of the PSU and your GPU. If your GPU is short, then it doesn´t matter

Hey schickes System hast du da gebastelt. Ich hätte jedoch die Lüfter von Noise Blocker präferiert. Ich finde das der 8700K immernoch ein absolutes Monster ist ich betreibe den selber auf 5 Ghz und ich denke nicht das es die nächsten 5 Jahre ein Spiel gibt das der nicht schafft =) Jedoch hatte ich beim Kauf einen besseren Zeitpunkt und habe nur 314 Euro Bezahlt.

Yes there is only one stock fan at the back of the case. Thats way to less 1 mounted one at the Front intake 1 at the bottom intake 1 at top out 1 at back out

I would reccomend a sfx PSU. I have the Corsair SF Series SF750 80 PLUS Platinum 750W. Mostly 550W is enough

You could do that, if you have a sfx psu. Maybe a normal one does fit too. But remember there is no hole at the back to connect power cable and so on.

@@M4trix2k7 I have an evga b3 750w so that's definitely not going to fit and also the power cable hole. Did you have some thermal issues too, I've seen a few reviewers complain about thermals for q500l and q300l

Nein, nitze den PC täglich zum Zocken. Im Idle unhörbar und unter Last nach Stundenlangem zocken. GPU temp bei max 66 Grad und CPU Temp (8700k, geköpft, @5 GHZ bei maximalen 82 Grad im Peak. Wohlgemerkt mit einem Luftkühler. Kann das Gehäuse wärmstens empfehlen. Und nein ich bekomm kein Geld dafür :p

@@markus1103 lustigerweise hatte ich das Gehäuse zuvor. Ist nicht schlecht, viel Platz und etwas besser gedämmt. Da ich keine Laufwerke habe war es für mich aber viel zu riesig und stellte für mich eine Platzverschwendung dar. Ich mag es einfach klein und kompakt. Die Temperaturen sind in etwa bei beiden Gehäusen gleich. Ist eigentlich eine Emotionale Entscheidung. :) Wenn Du das Q500L nimmst, schau dass du leise Lüfter hast.

Hey, Temperatures depending on your setup. But my Temperatures are absolutely ok. Meanwhile I got a Rtx3070 and I stream with this PC hours and hours in twitch. No proplems. Gpu at 65 and CPU at 75 (oc'ed ton6x 4,8 GHz) habe fun with this case, its Amazing ❤️

1700€uro für einen "alten" 8700k und nur einer RTX2080? Da hätte man definitiv was besseres zusammenbauen können in dem Preisbereich

Hey, die CPU habe ich mit 360€ berechnet, RTX 2080 mit 690€, so sind nun mal die Preise. Wenn man an den restlichen Komponenten spart, bekommt man klar einen schnelleren PC für die 1700€. Hier wurden aber ansonsten TOP Komponenten verbaut, um den PC Geräuschlos zu betreiben. Alleine die Lüfter kosten knapp 100€ + Netzteil 100€. SSD hat nichts mit Lautstärke zu tun, kostet aber auch knapp 200€. Natürlich ist es jedem selbst überlassen was für ein Prozessor er letztendlich verbaut, ich hatte mit meinem mini Kanal halt nur einen 8700k zur Verfügung. Außerdem steht in der Beschreibung, dass man besser die Intel 9xxx Serie verwenden soll, ein Z390 Board und ggf eine RTX 2080 SUPER. Das alles ändert aber nichts am Ablauf des Zusammenbaus Deine negative Bewertung finde ich nicht ganz gerechtfertigt. Trotzdem Danke fürs Feedback Grüße Stefan

@@ethiceu5035 no, I've built many computers. I have 2 other cases corsair and fractal design in my home right now. I very well could have reused one of them. I've also had full towers that were $200+ for some builds.
