I think that the launch control on the 1,200hp C8 is set too low. The RPMs seems to be set at around 3200rpm and you can tell that it isn't even building any boost during that time. If they can get that dialed in, it will be the beast they expect it to be.

Thank you. The fuel system was shutting down power off the launch. Once that is working properly, his times will be high 8’s.

He actually would have been fine if the fuel system was working correctly on the launch. He will get it fixed before Texas 2k in Houston.

This is why EVs will win the straight line speed sales war. There WILL be 7 second cars in the next five years that cost under 50k 100% guaranteed. The probably cannot complete two laps on a road course, but apparently nobody cares about that.

They need to work on that launch... they should talk with LMR to see how they have theirs set up. and remove that big rear wing to help with the top end drag.

The fuel system management wasn’t working correctly on the launch. Once they get that fixed, it will be good to go.

You have that right. Wings are worthless. Want down force install a spoiler. Pro Stock has no wings or spoilers. Spoilers only in NASCAR running over 200 mph. Wing is just an ornament, nothing more.

60 ft on the c8 is horrible - as bad as mine - with a 1.25 he should be near 8s - i trapped way faster on my c7 with way way less HP so not to impressive

understood but my lowly c7 bad trans tune on low boost making barely 1000 whp was running 9s at garbage SAC which has worst trac prep - point is when your saying 1200 whp c8 it was not running like a 1200 whp c8 otherwise mids 8s for sure

no way is c8 1200 whp - my lowly c7 was only near 1000 whp detuned at SAC and was trapping over 155 easilyt with about the same lousy 60ft as he ran
