This is one of the most helpful videos I've seen on lock picking. Somehow all the other guys missed this important point it seems. Thank you! It may even help a hopeless beginner like me!
ive had a ABUS LOTO in my naughty bucks for months which has yale key way. I had know idea about the individual holes and being able to pick up from the bottom of the keyway. Thanks for another great video! hopefully i can get it open from helpful lock picker!
Thank you for the kind words and I am glad to hear that it has helped! Also stay tuned for this Saturday you might have made it into the update video :)
This really helps. I got a practice lock from Covert Instruments and it has a Schlage keyway. The picks I got from there, too, I discovered on my own to pick from the left side. I'm curious, if you'd suggest top-of-keyway tension (as that's what came with my set) or bottom-of-keyway tension when having to pick from that left side angle.
@@HelpfulLockPicker yeah, I dont own any that you can take apart. But I've ordered a couple of cut aways and a couple of Euro cylinders so that should keep me occupied for a while.
Been watching your vids. I know what a warded lock is. Sooo, what is the warding in the american pinned lock? I'd like to see it in disassembly. I'm honestly confused.
that core with the kwikset keyway is actually a defiant core, which has one extra thing to deal with over a kwikset. they've usually got a spool or two, and the tolerances are way way worse than a real kwikset
@@HelpfulLockPicker thank you for responding I must have asked LPL 20 different questions and he never responds he doesn't give a crap about his viewers
Gary B From as United States perspective Peterson offers 0.018 and 0.015. Sparrow is a popular choice for 0.015 but I do not believe they offer 0.018. I rarely use 0.015 because that is too thin for me and I strongly prefer 0.018
I found the 15 and 20 at Sparrows. You have the most logical academically orientede series I've found- and I've watched all of them. My sincere complements :)
