Since when has Sarah been confused about who her dad is, she's always known Andy is her dad and Debbie has never been married before so why would she be confused?! And why would she think Ross is her dad, he's had zero part in her life, it's not like he's moved in or even dating Debbie. What utter nonsense, just an excuse to make another obstacle for Ross/Debbie. The writers should stop using Debbie as an excuse to make Ross/Pete hate each other even more.
+Alyssa A Exactly everyone is blaming Debbie, fair enough she had an affair with her boyfriend brother but in soapland it's nothing. but pete fair enough aswell didn't mean to hurt ross but he COVERED UP WHAT HE THOUGH WAS HIS MURDER AND BURIED HIM. Yet she is the bad guy. And Debbie has always been a good mum. everyone always said she never has her kids their in school and crèche like everyone elses. Yet she is always the bad guy.

Debbie was wrong to have an affair but that's nothing compared to beating your brother to 'death' and then instead of taking him to the hospital a few feet away where they could have given him immediate help and attention, he instead went out of his way and bundled him into a car and then tried to bury him in the woods. That's not Debbie's fault, Pete did all those things himself because he was trying to save his own skin. It was cold blooded, even the violent fight was understandable and the 'death' was unintentional but what he did afterwards was messed up - he should have called for help and tried to get Ross medical attention, but he was more concerned about himself. That's not on Debbie, that's just what Pete is capable of. I've also noticed how recently he looms over Debbie and manhandles her when he's pissed off - that's not a sign of a good person. I don't know what Cain was banging on about today, Debbie always thinks about her kids, she even had another child and jeopardized her own happiness to save Sarah. Also, I don't believe for one second Sarah would be confused about her dad - she knows who bloody Andy is and she knows Cameron is dead and was just her mum's boyfriend for a while. It's like any single mother isn't allowed to have a few boyfriends over the years and has to settle down with the first guy they date because otherwise it apparently messes up the kids despite the fact that the kids already have a dad who they see regularly and who is an active part of their lives. And, why isn't the same expected of Andy? He's had WAY more girlfriends than Debbie's had boyfriends. I'm so sick of the double standards. Also, I hate how loads of viewers always talk about Debbie being a bad mother because her kids aren't with her in every episode, it's ridiculous when they'll obviously be at school/nursery (they can't seem to tell that most of the episode takes place in the daytime) or are spending time with their dad who is just as responsible for them as Debbie is. Also, child actors can only be on set for a short amount of time so they can't always be in scenes, the funny thing is is that Debbie is with Sarah/Jack more than any other character is with their kids. Jimmy is never with Angel, Bob's never with his twins, Andy hardly shares scenes with Sarah/Jack, Bernice is hardly ever with Gabby. But because some people don't like Debbie they use her not being with Sarah/Jack 24/7 as an excuse to diss her character. LOL, sorry for the rant. It just annoys me how Debbie is always portrayed as the bad guy and the one to blame for other people's behaviour. Esp when other characters get away with everything.
cdeiscde IKR, it's ridiculous how Debbie is always talked down about having a life outside her kids and not being with her kids in every bloody scene. She's with her kids more than any other character, also Andy is just as responsible for them as she is. IDK why females with kids are vilified if they deign to have a social life and are not tied to their kids 24/7. Ugh, the kids live with Debbie, so obviously looks after them in the evening the mornings before school/work and at night with Andy having them them a couple of times a week. That's good parenting.
