I’m genuinely confused what you’re trying to prove or what your point is? 1- Did I ruin this xmaxx? -No I have 3..so what’s the difference if one is a speed truck? 2- Not sponsored by castle and I’d love to try the drugs you’re on if you think a 1717 will do more than this setup in a xmaxx. Lmao! 3-you make 0 sense on the battery talk so I’ll just tell you, running 2p with these batteries is essential. Two packs would only get you so far with the extra load this truck produces. Need those extra Ah when it’s under full load which is around 600a which an xlx2 will pull. Helps decrease the voltage sag with extra Ah. If you’re not jealous or ignorant than you have some anger issues or something else going on.. especially if this video offends you in any way enough to complain in the comment section that I am not running my stuff the way you would. This vid is like 3 years old and still is the 8s record for the xmaxx.. Merry Christmas.

@@ConsCustomz I question if you can imagine a world that isn't yours. My xmaxx did 140 yesterday, with 5hp maybe, sorry, 5000 KW. 18/30 gears. Just saying, you are using a fake castle.. I put a kitchen cabinet door in front to make it aerodynamic, I had to remove the front and middle, so it would use 2 tires. I put the front tires on the ESC mount so it could handle dirt roads. Afterward, I changed the oil and it was back to being boring normal.. Stop attacking my writing, I can't understand your broken English, so I try making an obvious thing for you to attack. Yessir, he’s running 16s though. This is the current 8s record. Truck has a lot more in it, just need to get clean runs. It’s getting extremely tough.

@@ConsCustomz awesome for sure! I have trouble keeping mine straight at high speeds. Had 2 crashes that were expensive, street signs are unforgiving,lol

@@ConsCustomz to come that close on 8s and a fairly standard motor and esc combo is amazing. I thought speeds like that would require an MGM Lehner combo or similar.

Yeah that’s why there’s time stamps in the description. It’s for a speedrun challenge and one of the first rules is no video editing.

It’s not a highway! It’s just a big wide road next to the Amazon facility! This was the busiest I’ve seen it! Usually it’s just a few cars every once and awhile! I definitely wouldn’t run on a busy highway!

It is actually the fastest xmaxx on 8s. Jason runs 16s to hit 126mph.

It had been so long since i watched the video he posted but you’re right yours definitely is the fastest 8s. Forgot he was running 16s when he did his. (Wasnt hating on your run btw if it came out that way)

U are correct I have the fastest. We both running 16 cells, same power output just wired differently for more capacity or more voltage.. either way good job Connor.

@@KiloWattRC same power output huh? Lol. 8s vs 16s is very different power output. I could have a million 2s packs wired in parallel and it's still only 2s. Now wire those same packs in series...

It’s a great idea for sure! I just don’t think that high speed cars are smooth enough for the fpv feed to be clear as you’d think. These cars produce a ton of vibrations that I could see causing issues in quality! Might be worth a shot though!

Thanks for watching! Yes I’m aware about the antenna. This was the only runs that I used the 5.8ghz antenna, was just testing to see if it improved response at distance or range, didn’t affect anything on these runs so will be switching back to the old setup. Also I gained a couple mph by putting on the front end and making changes to the aero, so it is working! Suspension is working good so far, pretty controllable for more than double the stock speed🤷‍♂️
