Something about the comic book style cutscenes is really appealing. Imagine if they went that direction with the entire artstyle of the game. That would've been really cool.
That was my first thought when I first saw it. It could of stood alone as it's own game! But I guess it would be a lot more work to make it 2d animation rather than using generic 3d assets.
Video aside I love how the sona looks like she has a layer for her body expression and one exclusive for facial expressions, which can generate so many hilarious expressions.
The timing of this vid is pretty cool. They're remaking the first game (called 123SMS Evo) and the puppet designs look way better both model wise and design wise, a lot friendlier but still creepy. I'm excited to see it, I've been a fan of these games for a while
I think the the old models is better, I just think it looks more creepy. The new models improved, however they look more realistic rather than decayed like the first game.
This game was REALLY creative even if it was juat "oooh scarry teletubbies" the characters and mechanics were cool af Edit: meant sesame street but same point
yeah, even I'll admit the reason I liked these games wasn't the games themselves, it was the sheer passion driving the devs behind it, it's one of those things where even if you admit that you don't like the game you wanna see where these guys go next and what they'll make next.
I like how the outro is basically gomotion probably killing asbestos or probably trying to get him out also. I'm sorry gomotion that you have to go through this pain being with friends.
These games had potential....but it's so disappointing to see where they ended up...these games under the right people could have been special but as they are they ...just meh.they ain't the worst fnaf like game you could buy tho, case animatronics is
So as a fellow member of the theorist community, I've learned how to discern and interpret things, whether in dialogue or design. And from what I can tell, Tim Denson, after doing something terrible, falls into madness and somehow ends up manifesting demonic versions of his puppets, which he claimed tormented him before they appeared. Eventually he disappears, presumably killed by them, and they go on to do the same to other criminals.
i remember buying the first game back when it came out, purely out of curiosity, but I had to stop playing after fifteen minutes. man, I thought I was the only person that remembered this haha
as far as i know, both of these games are getting near AAA remakes with good models, textures, code, optimization, and even animation by someone who's worked on many COD games before, this series is getting a glow-up.
@@archiegorman349 the source isn't trust me bro, lmfao, i work for the company behind the games, they are not actual "AAA" remakes its just IGS working on it, but the hope is for it to look near AAA and play like it. lol.
Honestly, I have a few ideas for this game. 1.) Difficulty Slider. 2.) More unique hallways. 3.) More puppets. 4.) Better plots and main character. 5.) And a better gameplay loop.
Saw someone mention Case: Animatronics being a bad game, and now I’m REALLY wanting GoMotion to review the series. I stopped watching gameplay of it sometime during the 2nd game (I gave up I think half way through the story)
OK, but those early Sesame Street puppets weren't exactly great looking like what we have today. Snuffy's eyes were sometimes too small to look like he was high, Big Bird's head never seemed to have enough feathers which made it a bit more unsettling, Oscar was orange for one episode before Jim tore him apart and rebuilt him green, and ultimately we had a vampire who grew into a softy. (BTW: I believe Sesame Street is on its 52nd season about now, so good job for the team taking these almost horrifying things and turning the creep factor down by a dozen)
Not to add that during the early era of Sesame Street, Cookie Monster has huge teeth set on his mouth. Which in that one episode of him with Kermit The Frog, He WAS ALMOST this close to chomp down the poor amphibian. Which scares the hell of little kids because instead of Jim making Cookie Monster eating cookies, he JUST EATS MACHINES!!!! Even TALKING MACHINES!!! And about the Vampire, He did scare me in that one old episode where he just hypnotized Grover with his finger.
John’s art is legit impressive tho, I highly suggest checking it out. Also the Slaughter me street web series is great, I believe it’s called odd stories wrapped in plastic?
The entire game is pretty jank but DAMN those comic book style cutscenes are fucking good. Like I could see that being used in a FULL PRICED game good. These guys gotta use that more and more and put their talents there
Something everyone should probably know, the creator of these games, Impulse Game Studios, were collaborating with Antoons as the artist for two games, those being Survival of the Fetus & some beat'em-up cat game I don't remember the name of, the latter of which you can play on Newgrounds. I'm only guessing those games have ceased production due to Antoon's drama 'n' shit, probably for the best. Though I will say I personally saw some promise in SotF, looked fun.
First we had the destruction of a background, then LSMark, than her voice role in the troll Oblutius Casa demo, then the continued character arc of the fucking background, now this The Gomotion Cinematic Universe (GCU™ ) is expanding rapidly.
Aspestose: Have you never reviewed an oreginal Iindie game before? Gomotion: Pfft, yes ofcoure I have- "Proceeds to show all the fnaf fan game review and not a single oreginal Iindie game in sight" I dont know why their dynamic is so funny to me like honestly
You know something I just noticed the first 123 was ironically done 100 times better in the hallway mini game in fnaf vr you know the one with the nightmare animatronic Scott probably took inspiration as the two games are very similar
I remember third game supposedly being set in asylum and you use masks to trick the puppets was canned from what I heard unless it's still being worked on or they changed it
Dude so glad to this and the others vids after Treasure Island are ok. We had a glitch to where they didn’t exist for quite some time. And we knew they did as we watched to when they were uploading. Had a little fear they were deleted. I’m glad they’re back.
god I remember thinking this game looked so stupid when I was younger still do ngl I also completely forgot they even made a sequel it’s a shame that one also looks like shit lmao
