I found this to be much more entertaining than CS. it's non stop action, very dynamic and the best thing is that there no headshot so battles last longer and map mastering and item co tell is crucial. I love it. bad thing that they moved to quake champions but I think we'll get used to it...
yes that is bad thing acn quack chemps still sucks game feel wise. espeically with push f to attack or defend and diss htboxes stacks... not competitive just wonky clown quake factory.
Where did all this come from? cooller just become a perfect quake live player? Amazing to watch the smartest player... Playing Quake like chess! superneat!

This was great play from Cooller. His rockets and footwork/dodging/fake outs during combat are unbelievable. 90% of his rockets that hit were great shots, that was entertaining to watch.
You know, when commentary first came out for Quake or video games in general, i was skeptical. But now I find it adds a lot more to the spectator experience.
harrythedevil Before update LG has did 7 damage. Let's say that you have 50 percent accuracy LG, and have fired 100 ammo. That means that 50 ammo has hit the enemy. Before it did 50 x 7 = 350 damage. Now that's 50 x 6 = 300 damage. it affects playstyle in many ways... LG damage was lowered, but other weapons damage is the same. That means that players who has just abused the LG, hitting very precise, can't do that anymore just like they've do. They need more time. And during that time enemy is not standing and doing nothing. You need to dodge more, hit more, and generally be faster to hit more damage. And if enemy is running from you?.. Let's say - situation were enemy is very low on health, and you are chasing him. When LG damage was 7, you had to hit him few times in one encountering to make him dead. Now you probably can't hit him enough to make him dead. And enemy can eat some heatlh'n'armor right after the corner... And that's only few examples of differentiation between before lowering the damage and after.
I don't know why cooller stop being aggressive on cure when he caught up to 6 kills. The moment he evened up 6-6, he stopped his rushing strat WHICH WAS WORKING! Gave cypher too much respect and room to breathe
I seriously cannot stand watching these matches with commentary. Just redundant noise that absolutely takes away from the game. I want to hear the footsteps, hear when items spawn not listen to someone stating their opinion on the match. Fps games should not have commentary at all, just 2 vids from both pov
Exclusive games, but if you just muted the mfcker with stupid immense headphones, bad mike and even worse sense of humor, it could have been even better.
