The lyrics, compose and song is from the great Taranasaz. The story is that Taranasaz was at intercontinental hotel and noticed an American girl who was talking to hotel receptionist and her name was Lori. So he came up with the song. So it is Lori Lori. And the second part is Hori Hori. There is the reference. Yaar farhangi, chura do rangi.
@@musicwithsara2021 well as you know Taranasaz is probably the best authentic afghan composer. He has a signature style of composition which can be identified if one listens to particular songs. In this case, he did tell a story at one of his gathering that I had the honor of attending. Also one of his great masterpiece compositions daqeeqahaa a ayat ajab shetab o megozarad which was sung by his favorite singer Ahmad wali jan, he described as he was wake at night and he was looking at the clock. He kept looking at minutes passing by so he just realize how life passes by like minutes on a clock. I commend you for your incredible presentation and I hope you continue. It’s truly refreshing to see someone like yourself bringing a more detailed nuance in afghan music.
