Hi! Me again 0 ..0" I just want to make sure we are doing them right. Here are the things we are going to put in to the I-129F package. Please help me check if we prepare all they need. Thanks A TON!!! - I-129F - G-1145 - G-325A (me and my fiance) - Passport photos (Me and my fiance) - Proof of relationship (pictures,letters,texts,tickets...) - Birth certificates ( me and my fiance) - Letter certifying intent to marry (Petitioner and Beneficiary) - Cover letter - $535 personal check Do we need to put I-134 and W2 in I-129F package? What else do we need? Hmm my fiance is going to apply for marry license, should we put it into it? Thanks a lotttt!!!
Hi 江欣倫 , Every case is different so you have to check online at this website to see if you are following all the requirements. Read the instructions on how to file: www.uscis.gov/i-129f We attached a document stating how we met as well. Also, the birth certificate needs to be in English. We also attached proof of meeting in the past two years. I-134, W2 the fiance brought it to the interview, not in the packet. Good luck!
Hi! love the videos, they are helping keep me sane throughout this whole process haha. I do have a question, for the binder, did you put the entire petition in one clear page protector and the statements to marry as well? or just one piece of the petition and one statement to marry per clear pocket?? I hope that makes sense.. lol and for the photos, how did you organize those? I am making this packet in Chile and I think I will have two photos per page, do you think I could put all the photo evidence in one clear pocket as a section or does each sheet have to have its on clear protector? Thank you both for all the help!!!
Hi Savanna. Glad the videos helped! We used a bunch of clear pages to put all the information together. We probably had around 35 pages. Basically, there is no "perfect" way of doing it. It depends on how the couple wants to arrange it. Just imagine yourself as if you were the USCIS officer and how you would like the package to be arranged. Two photos seem good but if you can fit more then that's no problem either. Dont worry too much, as long as you have all the requirements you will be good!
Omg. My fiancée showed proof that we had met by providing our pictures but we didn’t add this prof of ongoing relationship because we read that this was something I had to submit during my interview for my K1 visa. Can you say if we made a big mistake that she omitted it in the filling of the petition? 😬
K1 Fiance Visa Channel Thank you. oh lord I hope not because she submitted it in December and it’s now 4months already. Do you know how fast they send request for more information ?
Hi! Thank you so much for your helpful videos! We are currently in the process of getting all the paperwork filled out and getting it together. I have a question for you: for the part about getting signatures of both me and my fiancé, where exactly does he need to sign? Right now we aren't in the same place so it would harder for me to get his
Hi Samantha... our pleasure! We want to try and help as much as possible! When we did our application I (the petitioner) signed the I-129F form but we each filled out and signed the G325A and the letter of intent. At this time we were luckily both in the same location to sign but later on during the second part we weren't. At that time it was for the affidavit of support so I printed the form from online, signed it and then mailed it my fiance.. It is more complicated and also adds time but we didn't want to get a request for evidence delaying things later on. As a side note: Double check on the G325A because they might have combined this with another form. When we went to apply for the change of status later they had combined it, so just double check that you have all the current forms) Good luck with your application!
Hi again! I had another question regarding the k-1 visa and I was hoping for your help please. On the checklist, under the statement of intent to marry it says to provide “proof or original statement of intent.” My question is if my fiancé writes this statement and signs it can he scan and upload it in an email to me and then I print it out. Is that considered valid? Is that sufficient? Also, if he writes it in Spanish and I translate it to English, am I able to fill out and sign the section that I am certifying that I translated t to English? Does that certification need to be notarized? Thank you again for your help!!! I really appreciate it
Hi Samantha, For our case, we sent the original letters of intent, not just scanned copies. You didnt specify what document he is going to write in Spanish but no, they don't accept Spanish documents. We did use an official translator, we didn't notarize it though. Just the translator's certification number. Good luck.
K1 Fiance Visa Channel Thanks for your reply! So technically the only part that would be in Spanish would be the evidence I’m submitting of our Facebook posts, text messages, messages with his family, etc that would all be in Spanish because that’s the language we use to communicate. I’m not sure if I am able to attach translations of them or it has to be a certified translator who does that. Also when you filled out the form did you do it by hand in black ink or did you download it and added the information electronically? Thanks for all of your help!
samantha padilla I am in the same boat... All my conversations are in Spanish and not sure what to do... I'm sending screenshots from Facebook / WhatsApp... Let me know if you get an answer.. I have an appointment with an attorney on Thursday hopefully they can advice
Sandra Magallanes Hi! I actually sent an email to the embassy in Panama (that’s where my fiancé is from) and they said I am able to translate the proof of relationship :) I am going to submit a copy of the email response so the officer who will review my case sees that that is what they told me Good luck to you!
