Spend less than12 minutes, in total, and make gorgeous sourdough bread. I feed the starter 3 times in this video, because it was quite sleepy. If it was bubbly and active then I'd only feed it once, which makes the whole process even shorter.

how much flour and water do you feed it with each time Chris?

i generally give 4oz (100g) of each per feed. But as long as you end up with more than you need for the recipe the exact amounts don't matter, as long as they are equal water and flour. I don't throw any away, which some people do.....why?
