That is so great that your seniors are so well prepared that they really only need a couple of classes! That’s an example of great planning and hard work! Thanks for sharing ❤

I gave my upcoming 11th grader the option to take dual enrollment, but he said he wasn't quite ready for that yet, which is totally fine. There are SO many ways you can go these last two years of high school.

He is getting a lot of life experience on top of finishing up his academics AND getting some college credits! That's PLENTY! I'd probably stick to just two college classes a semester, if he is as busy as you mentioned. No need to stress the boy out :)

Just curious, why did you choose not consumed consumer math rather than math u see stewardship/consumer math since you already use math u see. I am considering both these curriculum for my son next year. Thanks! I enjoy your channel!

Hey that is a great question!! One I should ask myself lol. I feel like what happened is my other boys did the Dave Ramsey HS class, but was really praying about something different for this particular son😉 I had a chance to look at this and after seeing the inside I was excited and he seems to be interested also. I am not sure why I have never used MuS, I feel bad I forget they have that option😳🙃 But I did want something without videos for this student that we could dig into together and i can give our own life experience also🤗

Thank you so much for sharing!! 🫶🏼 I’m looking for encouragement, my daughter takes electives at the local high school and her counselor told her that homeschoolers can’t go to college and especially cause her curriculum is not accredited, but I know that’s not true so I’m not sure why she says that. It’s discouraging my daughter and making her resent being homeschooled.

Oh I am so sorry!! Have you reached out to HSLDA? Also Lee over at Homescholar. I did a “little research” on this a few years back, because the word accreditation kept coming up. From what I understand not all public and definitely not all private schools are accredited. There is a process they have to go through. Is there a college she wants to attend? I would reach out to them. I would find out requirements for your homeschooler to apply?? It is what the college requires not what public says😉 I think it would benefit her to meet with a counselor from college😉. ❤️🙏

@@learningwithboys7431 thank you so much for your response! That is great advice, I will try to get her an appt with a college counselor once we’re back in the states. I have looked at a few colleges, she doesn’t quite know what she wants to do yet, but I have seen application instructions for homeschoolers on several college websites so it must be a thing. The way I see it, even people who drop out of high school and get a G.E.D. can go to college, why wouldn’t a homeschooler be able to. 🙏🏼💗
