True ... JzakAllah Khair... But things are changing .. alhamdulilah... Since the new generation has the habit of asking "why are we doing this ?" We have a good opportunity to educate them through our actions ... Oh yes , we need to educate ourselves first through Seerah .

About the end of your talk ... Hazrat Abubakar r.a and Other companions didn't do it because Islam was alive then ... Now we should be celebrating our RasoolAllah ( with actions of course ) specially when every other name in Muslim history has been changed into something else .... About mental torture , whenever Tawheed is breeched , a mohid gets that torture ....

I noticed the same thing here in India. Haathi, ghoda , oonth, band baje, loudspeaker par full volume par naat, uchal kood, naare baazi hari jhandiyaan lehraana, patakhe shor gul, daawatein. That is all they do. The processions roam about all day just making noise. The world is becoming hell and humans, devils. There seems to be no difference left between Rabillaval procession and ganapati hindu procession. It all seems to have become so demonic, that it is scary! We are becoming hedonistic to the extent of having Greek like orgies, in the name of religion and our prophet SAW. This is frightening and spells such doom, my heart sinks every time I witness this. It is such a vulgar display of wealth and enjoyment. 😢
