You're very brave to disconnect the battery while the engine is running. A power surge can destroy the electronics. The soldered connections are unsuitable for 300A current. The rest is very nice work, although I would have separated the balance wires (next to the BMS connector) with Kapton tape, currently they touch each other.

себестоимость такого акб тысяч 8-10. Срок службы lifepo4 аккумулятора около 10 лет. Такой же девяностик свинцово кислотный с магазина тоже тысяч в 10 встанет, и прослужит лет 5. Теперь думай, где ты прогадал
@@badrabbit7899 My regular car battery can get to 60C in the engine bay. LifePo4 shouldn't be charged over 40C or below 0C. This battery will hardly last a year.
Those batteries are highly temperature sensitive and need proper cooling method otherwise it cooks inside your engine bay. Also you need to replace your stock alternator to high current alternator that supposed to charge Lifepo4 batteries otherwise stock alternator melts itself when idling.
My only issue is why is there a USB port on it???? The voltage meter I can understand but why a USB port. It's under the hood so it's not like you're going to be using it and it's going to get full of dirt and dust and everything else so it renders it useless.

I'll answer for him... you're right, you need a correct charging system from the alternator to give it a constant voltage, never mind thinking about cranking power needed, you can't use it straight from the alternator to charge it (prob modern ones with constant voltage Amps, with Dc-Dc might) can't swap a Lead acid with a LifePo4 battery one for the other, you have to check requirements and use a suitable BMS/charging system, watch the end of the video, he checks everything and you can tell he's got the correct charger.
It's better not to do that. Yes, the BMS board on the battery can ptotect from the overcharging, but the explosiveness of those batteries require at least two systems to control the voltage. So a specialized charging device is needed.
@@uniqueanimals8977 Hey friend, please DO NOT use the regular car battery charger to charge any lithium batteries. It can explode! I'm not an expert in modern chargers - but having someting like IMAX B6 Chinese clone should to the trick, they are safe to use as I know.
But why? LiPo/LiIon are sensitive to low temps, but lifepo4 are great there. They can be both charged or discharged at about -30 degrees Celsius without any trouble. A good replacement to the Pb batteries.
Привет друк давно тебя смотрю и подписан на твой канал сколька рас замечал когда ты собираеш аккумуляторы и паяеш балансировочные разёмы на bms и сейчас заметил что ты совершаешь грубую ошибку по проводам тем более с активным балансиром провода должны быть одинаковой длинны не зависимо от расстояния до контакта аккумулятора так как провод имеет своё сопротивление и из за этого при про текании тока по проводу будут разные показания на bms провода нужно делать все одинаковой длинны.
Робота гарна але струму для стартера авто ця батарея не забезпечить. І в кінці відео маю сумнів що авто запустив він від батареї що робив.BMS також не витримає стартерний струм. Вважаю що це обман та брехня.
He used a 300A BMS, and most BMS have a small delay to cut on overcurrent. Small petrol engines can be started with 150-200A, especially in hot climate like Vietnam.
Trzeba być niespełna rozumu, żeby próbować grzebać przy akumulatorze. Udawanie, że się na tym zna to tylko oszustwo. Po filmiku i tak ten akumulator znajdzie sie na śmietniku.
