12x12” papers, Use them up. How to make a slimline journal

You have more than inspired me Kylie!!!! I am totally taken with your ideas on using up not only the 12x12 papers but also other sized paper pads!!! I love making journals.... and love giving them as gifts. This will give me a wonderful direction to go in with my journal creations.... and use up my stash of leftovers or nearly full paper pads. I have been refraining from buying any more 12x12..... with the aim to use up what I have in my stash. Thank you so so so much for your wonderful inspiration!!! 🥰💖👍

Hello Kylie, I have just started watching you and don't think I have commented before, but I have memory problems so I never say never, because I never know what I have said or done... We all have our crosses to bear... You have a very natural, encouraging and welcoming way of presenting your tutorials and I look forward to checking out your website and learning more from you. Loved this little journal and like yourself I would have at least twenty odd 12 x 12 pads and a stack of 12 x 12 individual prints. I had more than double this, but I found a few teenagers who showed interest in journaling, a lovely teacher who runs classes for next to nothing and all the rest went to my closest Nursing home. I am hoping that over the next few months, I will pull myself together after the tragic loss of a close family member. I could not focus at the moment, but I have been told the lovely old ladies at the home would love to make the odd card or small journal, and although my knowledge is very limited, I think I could manage this and it would give me something to get involved with outside of my four walls. Thank you for giving me at least a spark of interest back in my journaling. I will look forward to continuing to watch you. Thank you, Rose.

I love slimline journals & these look great with the scrapbook papers, Kylie. I’m having some friends over this weekend & we might have to do some together. So quick & easy too. Nice idea again.

I made this with you tonight, but it took me hours longer due to stopping and fixing silly things like cutting instead of scoring, lol .I had a ball, and I'm definitely going to make more of these .thanks so much, Kylie.a great Friday night 😂

Hi Kylie, Loving your idea about using up the 12x12 papers we have in our stash. I have loads & loads 😂 Lots kits from UC I just haven’t had a chance to get too. I always say one day I’ll use the but like everyone I see other gorgeous paper collections we just have to get 😊 I’m a scrapbooker, mostly cards & layouts but I’m going to come back to this & have a go at making this.

I love this slimline journal. And how hard was that? she asks...It was excruciatingly painful Kylie, watching things going awry. lol. But, I have to say, we certainly learn what to do and not to do watching you. lol Yes you've inspired me to use 12x12's, but I haven't got any. I have only started again after about 30+ years and I just used up what I had left on my envelope journal I made yesterday and the scraps I've made tabs and journal cards today. What's a girl to do? lol. Got some spares? lol I really enjoy your videos Kylie. Your instructions are clear and precise, even when you don't measure. lol
