That’s a good question. You certainly don’t need to add a white piece on the inside of a card with a white card base. It’s perfectly fine to just stamp or write a message. But I do it for a couple reasons. 1. I think it just gives it a more finished look to the card. 2. I like to put a little strip of DSP or stamp in the corners and I like the look of it being on a separate piece. 3. If I’m stamping on the card base and color in the image with Stampin’ Blends, it would show through on the back. And it’s just a habit from doing other cards that have a colored card base where you would need to put a piece of white inside, so I just automatically do it for white cards too!
