Wow, that was amazing !! Never knew a flatbed could do that kind of work. Great job and like the Donna Summer song " He works hard for the money " Blessings !
You see that a lot. I live in central ky, 15 miles from town. About one in twenty property owners out here live this way where I am. Beautiful land and their yards, porches look like a mix of storage, flea market, and scrapyard.
I've watched a few of your videos, and I must say you are truly a professional. I thought towing vehicles from tricky situations was impressive. You're astonishing, and that trailer/manipulator/articulate super-priced device ROCKS! Learned something new.
Not exactly sure how I’ve become so addicted recently to watching shed repo videos. Maybe because you can get your fill of “there but for the grace of God go I” moments seeing the tenants and squalor. If they act a fool, it seems reasonable to mock them a bit. Who is in the right and who is not is easy to define. Plus, the equipment used and the mastery of moving the buildings is amazing and inspiring. AND, usually, no one gets injured or killed. Last, many of the comments are hysterical. 🙏🏽✌🏽💙 from Minnesota
Well done, what an amazing job you did to retrieve that shed. I agree with others that it hardly looked worthy of salvaging. Here in Australia I don’t think you’d find anyone who’d be prepared to do the same job unless they were playing serious dollars to get it done. That trailer is an amazing piece of engineering and you have the patience of a saint 😂👍
I agree, but it could also be due to mental health issues. We shouldn’t judge without knowing all the facts. Some people are just very lazy and don’t care whereas there are others who simply struggle to cope snd need help.
@@chanamyriam2960 yeah most people don't realize how quickly their life or a family members life can be completely turned upside down and it happens all the time
That was a tight one. Good job. For those wondering. If that was on my lot it would get any loose stuff removed, get a sweep out, a repo sign put on it and be gone in a week or less. People will buy anything if they think it’s a deal. People call often checking to see if I have repos.
I still have my 14x35 foot building that me and my wife have lived in for years..I used the opening sliding door for my grill out and lounge area..I have a big living area kitchen and sleeping 😴 place in the loft. I rather love it and so does she. I started to do a RU-vid setting it up and making it a home but I didn't have time for that sorta rubbish
That jack reminded me of the old car jacks from the 70s and early 80s…I called them the widow makers! Every now and then they’d fly out and were treacherous!
@@ShedmoversRus that's great can't wait. Just watched your last video last night. That trailer is amazing. Old man was complaining about his driveway and wall. Hysterical
Then what happens to the shed? Is it cleaned and painted to be resold. I like to see the process of how the repoed shed is prepped to be resold. Thanks.
We have in some cases hired a cleaning company to come out and clean everything and bleach the shed but Usually if the shed is structurally okay then the rental company resales the building as is.
If dude was living in there u have to assume that everything around the outside is his bathroom. Maybe I’m wrong but that’s some land I would not want to have to get too close to
That had me on the edge of my chair wondering if it would end up rolling over until it started to get pulled on the trailer. Feel bad for the people that have to clean and retire these sheds for resale.
I’d like a follow up video-showing owners reaction to receiving their buildings back for refurbishment and resell! What goes into turning a building back into rental or maybe a burn pit
I’m just realising there are a lot of people living in these sheds without any amenities. How do they wash themselves or clothing for a start? I know you can get a generator for power, but you still need access to water.
Its hard to believe that shed has any value whatsoever. Your skill and labor just recovering that meth factory is worth more than the whole thing. Especially if the company is going to spend money recovering it painting it, cleaning and fixing ext. It's literally a shed! Still an awesome video.
I wouldn't care if I take a lost on something if you owe me a will repo it. It is the principle of it. I will take it back to the shop and use it as fire wood
Imagine the look on the guy's face when he return "home" to find it gone 😮. Best to pay your bills 😂 Anyone else notice the individual in the window of the mobile home in the background video taping? 😂😅
@ShedmoversRus @ 2:41 and is there everytime that window comes into view. Watch that red curtain, you can see it move as soon as the window comes into frame at the beginning. You just never know who is filming you.
Why was the mule not used? (Slope was not that bad). Why were temp wheels not placed in the rear for less damage? (The thing may be almost worthless, but every bit of damage he does comes out of his portion). Why were the power or telephone lines jostled so much? (Easy way to electrocute yourself).
Had a friend that moved these sheds and repoed them,,,,there is just a certain clan of people that will try to live in these things and by the time they are repoed they are trashed pretty bad it just the fact that they are not gona let them get away with stealing it,,,,,,
It's not even the fact they're living in a shed. It's the fact that they're trying to live rent free in a shed because they don't make their payments. And you know they've got to know they're trying to game the system. I just don't know how they could get credit rent to own the shed because you know their credit scores got to be crap.
Thats a nice future home for someone. Just a little paint and insulation. Add a wood stove and solar panel system and plumbing. New it would cost $4,500 if you built it yourself or $8,000.00 for a contractor to build it. Much cheaper then buying a house.❤❤❤ But that garage doorr would suck. Too many leaks. I got an old freind of mine living in a garage without any insulation, only electric to light and heat that place. Its not ment to be lived in but he does!😮
So, what happened? The person living in it couldn't make the mortgage payments and it went into foreclosure? For what it cost to get the thing will hardly pay back from the resale of the shed after it gets "detailed". Like others here said, it's the principle of the thing. We had a 12x28 shed delivered a couple years ago and the guy had one of those fancy trailers. Without the ability to skew sideways, he wouldn't have been able to maneuver it around a sharp corner! Pretty neat.
If its rent-to-own there's very clear language in the contract stating a missed payment will be grounds for repo. These sheds are popular because the buyer usually doesn't have to undergo a credit check just a small down payment plus monthly payments until its paid off.
I'm curious on who leases/buys a used shed? If thing is moldy on the outside and who knows what the inside is like? Yes i understand it can be pressure washed and re stained/painted but with the cost of the repo man, labor to clean and repair plus the materials, i mean sure they can get some $ for it but for that one it seems like a bunch of time, labor, storage and cash to rehab them, do they go to auctions sometimes or discount rental as is? Just curious as i repoed cars 20 years ago for a year, mostly newer cars and the nasty ones went straight to auctions, sometimes within 48 hours of possession and decision of lender.
it's a shame people get the sheds new and wreck them and ending up not paying for them . Need stricter rules to get one. If I would of been delivering the shed to this property I would of not left it there. A lot of time and money in the recovery the renters should be taken to court and made to pay for it or get a judgment against them.
Psychologist often say people that live in a cluttered lifestyle such as hoarding has a lazy streak, and it’s also mental because clutter junk can be the cause of their anxiety and depression
In my opinion when walking up to a storage building in finding it empty always lock the roll up door and bring some Very long sheetrock screws and a screw gun of some sort and screw that front door to the frame
