I have friends and family in the U.S. I would get questioned a lot when coming to visit New York, NJ, etc. I have seen people denied access to boarding buses. What has happened in the past 2 years? The U.S. and Canadian government must absolutely work together and come up with active solutions to solve this problem. If people want to immigrate. I'm a Canadian with dual-citizen parents from NY, I used to cross this same border crossing with only my driver's license. This year I was refused entry for not having my passport and was held for 3 hours by CBSA. Glad to see foreign aliens crossing on foot while dual-citizens are treated like criminals. Great work to both our administrations!

Whoever facilitated the transportation should charged with human trafficking. Stop the free temporary housing. Shut the doors, load them onto buses, take them to the airport and fly them back home wherever they may be. Laws need to be changed to stop the profiting of tracking by cartels. Buses companies should be fined per person who aren't citizens.

I live in the Swanton sector in Upstate NY, 5 miles south of the Canadian border. Our small town sees dozens of border crossers a day, many just wandering down our Main Street waiting to catch a ride to NYC. Several months ago, I approached a group of a dozen military age males, loitering around the gas station at the main crossroad in town. One male was on a cell phone trying to communicate with someone on the other end who was speaking very good English, meaning no perceivable accent. The cell phone male was unable to communicate with the person on the other end of the call (female voice). As I listened to the other members of the group talking, I heard several words and or phrases that sounded familiar to me (possibly Arabic). I was language trained in the military for Arabic. When I spoke to the men, their eyes lit up with recognition. They were all Muslims from Bangladesh. After several moments of chatting, I was able to discover where they were from, that they flew into Canada, were given a contact # to call after crossing and for them to make their way to NYC. My data is anecdotal but a majority of the migrants we’re are seeing here in Upstate NY are from Central Asia (India, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh). Winter is quickly approaching here, and many who risk the Swanton sector route will not make it due to the extreme cold. Many of my friends who live outside of town, many farmers, are deeply concerned or frightened for the safety of their families. Many have had migrants approach their houses and attempt to gain access. Truly scary stuff. And it seems to only be getting worse.
Yes, I saw it. I have also read numerous comments from elderly American citizens who are only getting $23 a month in food stamps, and the majority of them worked for 40 years or more. My sister and her husband get that $23 a month too. Believe me, my sister is beyond angry.

We were traveling along the I-40 in Kingman Arizona and it was getting dark and we were tired, so we thought we would get a hotel room for the night. We pulled into a hotel parking lot and as we were getting out , a bus pulled up and fully loaded with migrants were getting out and we barely got by them to the front counter and we were pushed aside by the hotel so they could book them all in. Being frustrated we left and went to another hotel and they also had a bus load, we went to 3 hotels to find the same thing happening and we left this town and ended up sleeping in our car about 30 miles away … this is BS that Americans are being pushed out.

The NYC City Council is most responsible, yet being held least culpable. Adams said he hasn’t had luck getting them to modify the Right to Shelter and Sanctuary City laws. The NY City Council is predominantly Dem and over 50% Hispanic. As a fellow Democrat, Adams isn’t going to air them out by name. It may take a Republican mayor to put these City Council leaders on the Jumbotron and wake up their constituents. I think there’s a reason why civics isn’t really thought in middle schools in Dem or Repub cities anymore. They aren't "refugees" if they fly to Canada and come across the border there. They can apply to Canada for asylum. Or instead take a flight to anywhere else in the world and apply for asylum there.
