Even the best skin care in the world probably won't make my skin clear. People need to realise that it's not always about the skin care but about genetics playing a big part in acne

Imagine if we had all learnt to love and accept people around us just as they are right from the jump, women everywhere would be saving hours from their day trying to look acceptable to society and its scrutinizing eyes. All of these women are beautiful with and without makeup. Some of us just feel like wanting to play a character everyday so we use the makeup to look like another person, our personalities don’t change. Saje JekyllHyde Lol, I don't wear much makeup (pretty much just mascara on good days). I've felt no pressure from "society" to wear it. What I've felt is pressure from other women. From some of my girl friends constantly pestering me to let them go do my makeup, to a fellow student telling me I would just be pretty if I wore it, I'm honestly concerned for the way women view themselves. I'm not saying societal pressure doesn't exist, especially in the marketing industry, but to completely ignore the biggest influence (women themselves) is dangerous.
Yk, a lot of people think bad about makeup saying that it doesnt look natural or makes you look like someone else, but it actually helps a lot making people happier, feel confident, etc. Or just people who wanna do it as a hobby, so instead of making a joke about how different they look, i wanna say that these people are incredibly talented and look beatifull both ways.
They are recognizable, just don't look as perfect. Most people don't totally transform with makeup, just look cleaned up around the edges. The ones who do transform are using tape and contouring, things that most women don't do when applying makeup.
The one at 7:30 looks like the same person, with makeup on. Many of the others look like somebody else because they changed their features instead of coloring the ones they have.
The cutest part about this video is how they all looked so happy and smiley after their make up was on. It's also the saddest part because people nowadays need make up to feel beautiful. But it won't be so bad to feel confident with or without make up

I think a bottle of water won’t do the trick.. lots of makeup made nowadays can only be removed with special liquids, also ppl are getting makeup tattooed and permanent. And let’s not talk about the fact 20-40 % of women have undergone plastic surgery, so u really don’t know who you’re talking to 🤭

In some cases men do shame women for using tons makeup and changing their natural appearances in very mean ways, however don't you think those transformations are a bit too drastic? It ain't right to trick people, specially about the way you look. Even if physical looks should not be what "makes you fall for someone", girls should also consider not to do such impactful modifications to their faces. I think the power of makeup can be so empowering for people who have severe birth defects or scarring, and honestly, people who know how to use makeup to accentuate natural beauty is something I really admire. It becomes a shame to me, when people start attempting to meet a false standard that is so unnatural they don't even look real anymore, that is when it loses its appeal in my opinion. Real people have flaws. But, it must be said that I'm lazy and have no one to impress and I really can't imagine why anyone would spend so many hours putting so much makeup on when you could be doing... anything else instead. Appearances have different levels of priority for everyone.
Yeah I'm trying to get good at make-up because my acne scarring is really bad and due to that my self esteem has been damaged. Hopefully with the power of make-up I can regain my confidence again.
