@@thefirstsplatanastamperuser The lyrical interpretations are very raw, but I think it could fit if you don't factor the younger target audience (which would be meta anyway). Wasarety explained in a separate video that their thought process behind Shiver's lyrics was: "Shiver represents the bird along with the poison of "raga" which can be translated as greed, attachment, and lust. I went with the latter 2 translations because making lyrics about greed would have been way harder and I didn't think I'd pull that off (though I think there's a bit of greed in some lines like "There is something within you I must have"), and the term "love birds" was a great addition that wouldn't have worked in that context." (Wasarety) I think that the bigger theming is of what each of the song names could represent in this interpretation, rather than the character that's singing it.
East Asian Studies minor here for an in-depth analysis! I've taken a fair few classes on Buddhism (I am not Buddhist) and I really love how you connected each remix to its animal/poison. For context for those of you who don't know and are reading this, a lot of other comments have said this already: in Buddhism, there are three poisons keeping people within samsara: desire, embodied by a rooster; anger, embodied by a snake; and ignorance, embodied by a pig. Shiver's involves a lot of passion and... horniness, for lack of a better term. Very appropriate for the poison of desire. I've always thought that it fits her, since she's considered the most beautiful by the fanbase and is the leader of the group. Frye is FURIOUS in her lyrics, she's ready to commit war crimes. Excellent adaptation of anger. Frye being anger was always a bit confusing to me, but the snake and eel connection is probably why she got assigned anger. Plus, she's lost the most Splatfests. Big Man seems convinced that the world is lying to you and just wants to ignore everyone. I like that interpretation of ignorance. And I mean, look at how positive and happy go lucky the guy is. He does not care about what's going on around him. He does him. Perfect for ignorance. Very nice job!

Shivers lyrics remind me of that whole thing where those people made the most dirty lyrics for nasty majesty and they amount of pearl x marina shippers grew by like 200%
I LOVED IT SO MUCHHH Shiver and Frye's lyrics are so fiery and playful while Big Man's are so dreamy and magesticc!! Also loved the references to poisons' names and meanings!! Totally gonna rewatch it many times, amazing job y'all‼️💙💛❤️
All the thoughts that went into these lyrics so it fits the three poisons dynamic, and it still fit- you two have done an amazing job (prop to the visuals too, a nice touch)

I especially love the lyrical choice for the boar mix. Speaking of Big Man, it's great to see him in other vibrant colours.
