Boss Bottled Elixir made my jaw drop. It's incredible, in par with mancera. Unbelievable performance. Tested with just one spray on my arm and I could feel it for about 3 or 4 hours after.
Two scents this year that really stood out: Boss Bottled Elixir and Guerlain Habit Rouge Prive(this house seems to blur the line between designer/niche imo). The construction of each is staggeringly complex & great, with the Rouge Prive having one of the best ginger notes I’ve experienced in quite a while. Both are 👍👍
I have some of the ones mentioned. I'm beginning to think I only need only two frags. DHP and DHI. I pretty well have it covered for just about every situation. Oh, and a really good gym scent for almost any casual situation. That makes it three.
I'm so glad you actually recommended Nikos Sculpture Parfum. It is probably going to be my daily driver this summer as it's wonderful! They did such a good job beefing up the original dna, it smells great and finally performance is top notch.
I’ve just ordered blind the Bentley for Men Intense….. it’s very affordable so not too worried if it’s not for me but you’ve recommended it on several videos so looking forward to trying it !
Happy to see Le Male Elixir on your list! The opening was so intense and I thought I wasn’t going to enjoy it BUT when it sat down, it has been one of the most beautiful male fragrances I’ve smelled thus far! I got it for my fiancé this Holiday season!
Guilty Elixer was so bad when I tried it at Macy’s like two weeks after it came out I had to scrub it off before the movie. My wife and I were going to a movie and I wanted to try it and we both agreed on scrubbing it off. It’s really strong though, it was there after the scrub off during the whole movie unfortunately. I stopped back by the fragrance department and asked them how it was selling and they said they hadn’t sold one bottle yet. Two weeks, zero sales. They said Boss Bottled Elixer was their #1. I think this one will be discontinued by summer. Dior Homme Parfum is so good, I have two back ups.
Great because I need all the bottles for me . I do like boss bottle elixir but I feel like having Sauvage elixir there’s not need for bbe since SE makes everything better than the boss .
DIOR HOMME PARFUM is an intoxicating masterpiece. And quite unlike most designer fragrances of my experience, the performance is exemplary. Not a huge projector, but the scent bubble is there, and longevity is terrific. Very much a unisex scent. If a woman wore it, I'd be tempted to climb her like a tree.
My top 10 favorite perfumes are also very close to yours. ( Bentley for men silverlake/ Prada lhomme/ysl la nuit de'homme/ Dolce Gabbana the one Edp/ Guerlain lhomme ideal extreme/ Dior homme EDT/Tom Ford noir extreme edp/ Lalique encre noir a'lextreme/ Tom Ford ombre leather/ Bentley for men intense)
@@victorgrey8202 I understand EDT, but which version of Dior Homme? There’s the reformulated 2020 version and “Original,” which is supposed to be closer to the 2005/2011 original formulation.
Do you have recommendations for fresh fragrances for men that aren't too strong on the nose but lasts? Like "just got out of the shower" type of fragrances.
Hey Sebastian! Any plans to do another ingredient video (e.g. aldehydes [yeah, I think you already did that one, but just using that as an example])? Happy Holidays!
Maybe. Although right now in the midst of prepping to be being gone to Japan. Probably come February. But there's Boozy and Tobacco vids on the horizon. Are you interested in something not done before?
Do you not see similarities between Bottled Elixir and Parfum? I find Elixir to be more on the frankincense and labdanum side… but certainly similarities
In the world of fragrances there are designers like the brands you see discussed in today's video and brands that are not attached to any other products like clothes, jewelry, cars etc. A designer not only sells perfumes but also clothes, jewelery and cars. So those would not be categorized as niche! :)
