I love the idea of Nerf Turret. With a specific face detection feature it can be usable. But I would need higher magazine capacity and faster rate of fire. Surely doable.
I was thinking, take a kids doll, add the animatronic eyes, and facial following (project #2) .. have head turn via camera as well. Doll that can watch and follow you around the room. Creepy factor 100!
I'm really bored of videos that show everyone but their own work, Tired of Arduino videos about other videos. If we could get you tube to stop allowing people taking videos and making videos about videos. DIY, CODE HELP, are what people need from Arduino videos, not another count down of other people videos. Time to get rid of these people trying to profit off other peoples videos.
Links to the individual projects are included in the description. This vid is literally a compilation of projects, I don't see the use in complaining about it.
It’s hard to listen past the point where dude can pronounce “gimble” but for some reason no one thought to go back and RE-record audio for missing the word “record” brutally. But I did…until “soldered” ended up being murdered.
this project is way too cheap and easy...... he should make something innovative like the large hadron collider or a lifelike robot like sophia He should take inspiration from me like yesterday I made blood travelling through bluetooth not veins.....
None of this is actually DIY.... this is all stuff that highly resourced people have made, this is not DIY as 99% of your viewers have no clue how to make any of this
All the links to the original videos are in the description, but I concur, this person could do a much better job actually crediting people not only so this content is justifiable (in some way) but also so that viewers can actually profit the original channels instead of just asking for diagrams and code here, in the comments of these pathetic videos.
These kind of people steal everything. They barely credit any of the original authors. In fact, their entire channel is based upon stealing from other people. Quite pathetic, if you ask me.
this is awesome don't get me wrong but the seemingly EXTRA amount of DIY feel these projects have is kind of hilarious. like the glasses when the narrator is like "the glasses are neatly soldered" meanwhile it's a scene of a taped up pile of electronics LITERALLY being soldered on top of a ROCK OUTDOORS lololllll. I love it
Don't get me wrong.... in a good sense.. I can say that these type of embedded modules and their libraries are killing the talent of enthusiasts these days.. no one today cares about basic circuitary, processor interfacing, or coding today.. I remember when I was studying engineering, we use to design and make single board computers from scratch using atmel and picmicro CPUs on perf boards and even point to point wiring for some parts.. for coding, we first draws flow charts and design programs of our own.. vloggers these days must try more to include "from scratch" videos explaining basics of networks and components.. Mr. Carlson's Lab is an excellent channel in this respect..
My hunch would be that it's more of a numbers thing. The people who enjoy creating single board computers are just outnumbered by the ones who want a single board computer to create a "higher level" project, so they're less visible online. I'm sure they're still around, doing their thing. One of the first videos I found when I started researching this new (to me) world of single board computers and DIY projects, went through each component and how to build your own from scratch. Personally, I'm a programmer so I start with a "ready to use" board. I have zero interest in building my own, that's just not where my interest lies.
