I've already uploaded a video showing how I make sorbet in this machine, but this is my first official use of the food processor and my first thoughts. I end up making lentil patties, which you'll see in part 2 of the video.
Omygosh. After watching your videos several times and paying attention to your setup, I was able to figure out how to setup mine. I couldn’t get the mini chopper and slicing disc to spin. Until I realized the tall shaft comes apart!!! Thank you for sharing your video with the rest of us.
Awesome demo. You showed me things that I never knew and now I feel confident to make my scalloped potato dish using the slicer attachment. Thank you so much!!!!
Man!!! got this as a gift 2 years ago and no matter how hard I tried and how many videos I watched, I couldn't work it. Seems like people just want to talk about how great the machine is, how great the dicing and french fry pieces are. What about the basic usage?? 11 minutes of my life well spent. I can't scream THANK YOU loud enough!!!!
imstillstandingforhim holton I agree all the videos showing pushing the food through. I want to show how to actually set it up. I got more from this video than the dozen I previously watched!!!
OMG OMG OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH! I've had this thing since 2015 and could never figure out how to assemble those same three pieces with the drive adapter! Just like you I kept trying to put the one that goes on the slicer blade onto the drive adapter. Now that I'm eating almost two pounds of greens and vegs per day I thought there HAS to be a way to figure this out....and here you were! THANK YOU! (subscribing)
A friend just gave me hers as I was looking at getting one and she had gotten a new one. Let me say your video is so helpful. It’s this exact model and I’ve been trying to figure out how to use it.
Im so grateful for the video. I was so frustrated with the thing especially since it was my first processor and i didn't know what i was doing. Thank You!
You're welcome! When I got it, I wished there were videos online to help me figure it out, and there weren't, so I had to post some! It can be daunting to figure out.
Thanks for the video, I'm excited to get mine in the mail tomorrow, I ordered the empire red to match my stand mixer. ..this was very informative and helpful :)
thanks to your vid, I just purchased the same kitchen aid food processor and it works great. Now', I'm buying a Kitchen Aid blender and a food dehydrator.
Thanks for the video, it really helped where the instruction book failed. After watching, I'm convinced mine is defective when using the shredder or slicer. I have to push down HARD on the lid to allow it to turn on, and once I let go it stops. Your video showed that I assembled it correctly, it's just got a flaw or is broken. Thanks again!
I'm retired Army and save a lot on my food bill by using my kitchenAid food processor and save time in the kitchen. I use my processor every day for all kind of things. I think its very easy to use and well wreathe the money. I wish I had the Dicing kit for it. And I will one day buy the dicing kit because my hand are kinda mess up and hurt if I use them too much and think it would help me cut up food for soups and stews. well good luck with your machine and have a nice day. John
Yes, Thanks! Love that you showed about putting it together!!!!!! Anyway, how about the lentil burger recipe???? I would have loved to watch you make it!
This was a really fun video to watch. Totally helpful! This processor is actually pretty solid and is good with the slicing, it's pretty convenient. It can get pretty confusing when you first try it, but it becomes pretty easy to use later down the line. Thanks for the demo!
Liked how you showed the thick and thin slices at the end. I get occasionally frustrated whenever I apply the lid. It seems correct but then the processor won’t work and I’m having to readjust the lid
u should get the French fry disk and dicing kit !!! I love kitchenaid products and I wanted this food processor mainly for that but definitely love help cutting things in a hurry thanks for making a video it helps from a actually persons point of view an not a paid actor.
Can I purchase the assembly blades and drive shaft on line ? Like Amazon . And do U think all Kitchen Aid processer will blades will fit? Thank for sharing.
i made one cup mayo in this and it came out perfect because of the drip attachment that comes with it. now i do not have to waste mayo. i can make small batches and use it up. thanks kitchenaid. they need to demo mayo making when showing it.
Thank you for your video. The instruction booklet was very skimpy, but you illustrated the points the instruction booklet did not cover. Nothing helps as much as seeing something in action.
The "Pulse" button is also handy, especially when using the chopping blade instead of the slicing and shredding disks. Just press and hold to start, and release to stop. (Some models have a little delay after pressing "Pulse." Just hold a little longer in that case.)
Konnie Coller For safety reasons, the bowl and lid must be locked into place for it to turn on. That's the number one reason for people having trouble. And of course it has to be plugged in. ;-)Some early versions of the KFP had a "slow start" pulse button, but newer ones don't. If yours is one of the older ones it can take a moment after pushing the pulse button before it actually pulses.I just gave my KFP1333 away yesterday, but I still have a manual on my computer and a few years of practice with it. If you have any questions I can try to help.
