In this video, I have discussed many benefits exclusively available to senior citizens in the income tax act. A person of 60 or above 60 years of age is known as a senior citizen and a person of 80 or above is known as super senior citizen person as per income tax act.

Bohut hi acchhe se aapne saari jaankaari di. Super sr.citizen agar BP, Colestrol etc., medicines le rahe hein to kya wo income mein baad hokar tax free ho sakta hein ? 2. Jab ek income tax payer expire ho jaata hein to usko income tax department se kya kya benefits milte hein ? Pl. Reply for above 2 points. Thank you sir 🙏

Bahuth badiya jankari diya hay aapne . Dhanyavad. Senior Citizen ka FD ka interest 50000 Rs tak, Annuel pension amount ka saat jodukar tax nahi lagaya jatha kya ? 2021-22 ka tax returen kab tak dena hay ? FD interest mea tax ka choot ke liya bank mea 15G/H dene se tax nahi lagatha hayna ? Yadi 15G/H dene ka baad tax returen file karne mea koi dikkath hay kya ?

Sir, To get deduction u/s 80C, I have purchased NSC for 1.5 lakh and when matured after 5 years, interest crossed above 50,000. Post office did not deduct tax at source but I show interest as income of that (NSC maturity) year while filing itr.

Excellent The hallmark of your Video is it is lucid, easy to understand and you do not incorporate too many things in the video. Because there are a few points / information in the video, a Super Senior Citizen can remember and gets benefitted by the information provided. Another thing you speak very slowly that facilitates absorption of invaluable information. Almost every video maker speaks too fast. May be it would be wonderful to amplify a little the point concerning section 194 P of Income Tax Act. Usually Super Senior Citizens keep Savings Accounts with two Banks. Anticipating the situation that they may come across a situation when bank employee is uncooperative and they are in dire need of money. So in one bank they keep their FDs, draw their Pension in the savings bank account held with that Bank and even locker but in another bank they keep a little money in the savings bank account held with that bank, so that in dire need they get some money. The query is even in such situation the Super Senior Citizen has right section 194 P of Income Tax Act. to give directions to the bank in which he is receiving Pension and keeping vast majority of savings to file ITR and deposit Tax on his / her behalf. does Bank has discretion to file ITR and deposit Income Tax, acceding the request of Super Senior Citizen, even if Super Senior Citizen has a little amount in the savings bank account of another bank.
