Mostly it all their company fault and sometimes I think it just to many new group keep coming out non stop so It hard to see them.. Most all of them in this clip my ultimate fav group
The video got it wrong though. They reunited under TS entertainment in 2016 and even did worldtours again. They finally disbanded after their contract with TS run out in 2019 and the oldest member yongguk went to military
@Riana C they didn’t ‘acquire’ Pledis. They only have majority shares, which gives them an upper hand when it comes to decision making. (I believe they own 85% of the shares) Think of YG Entertainment for example. Black Label, is a sub-label of YG Entertainment. Somi, is in Black Label, not in the official label of YG Entertainment. Seventeen is still under Pledis. Just that since BigHit is the largest share holder of Pledis, all artists under Pledis receive professional and systematic support from BigHit which helps further them with resources and connections, etc.
I've made a video about Rosé's adopted dog, Hank, if you're interested.. This video helps us better understand our girls: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6FSF_frNyok.html
BAP makes me sad so much...they had INSANE popularity when they came out and their songs over time got better ad better. Pristin also had SO MUCH potential.
Last information I have about B.A.P after disbanding is Himchan's scandal from 2019. Nobody ever revealed what the curt said about it so no idea if Himchan is doing ok
Madtown, ToppDogg, Pristin, BAP, Surprise, Boys republic, History... I stanned all these groups and supported them since their debut but yes as you can see I got heartbreaks along the way :)
@@johnpizzacena2215 Actually, they themselves stated they would be in hiatus and no disbandment has been confirmed. Y&W is a project group and if you check Minsu's Instagram, he still has Boys Republic stated in his bio, as well as Onejunn. I believe they still consider themselves part of the group. However, I am not 100% sure of what's going on of course - no specific info has been given.
Bap was actually really really huge they were rival to exo until 2014 where they filed a lawsuit against ts ent. Due to not being paid despite having paid their trainee debt
true the company but don't trust too much on artists too that they are good because we don't know them personally when it is off-camera they have ugly personality after all just saying hard to trust people these days artist or not
it's heartbreaking to know that some idols trained for how many years just to debut and end up being one of the unpopular kpop groups and some end up with a crappy entertainment company where they don't fully use their idol's full potential
@@ACEsParkJunheeWreckedMeHard the thing is that even Pledis forget that they are not only Seventeen, and I totally agree with you, even being a Seventeen fan myself
No words can ever express how harsh it has been on B.A.P, forget all the mistreatment and the abuse from TS. B.A.P is not a Big-3 group and we all know that it's not easy for you to be popular when you're from a small company. B.A.P worked really hard doing 2/3 albums per year, kicking off concerts and tours. I honestly felt it was unfair for them but it all paid off with the big fan base and the support they received. After the lawsuit and the pause of the activities a lot of BABYZ left the fandom which is really heartbreaking after all of the efforts and work they've done. I always wonder how do they feel about that :( they deserved much more! It's not fair but that's life I guess :(
It still hurts that ToppDogg didn't become successful. They were really talented! Also B.A.P could've been such a big group with a hella big fandom if it wasn't for their entertainment and the mismanagement / mistreatment
God, I loved B.A.P.. Their output was phenomenal and it was completely understandable why the sued their agency. The way they were treated was absolutely appalling. They had the best dance moves and great singers. All of the boys deserved better. I have always hoped that they would regroup but I doubt that this will ever happen.
The members are all still very close. (with the exception of Himchan, due to his sexual assault lawsuit) So I'm pretty sure OT5 will come back together when they're able to.
@@aimseij I think Yongguk already terminated his contract. I just heard it before. Anyways, I hope they come back. I always love BAP and will still love them no matter how long the reunion is. I love their songs 😭
The part about B.A.P is wrong though, they didn’t cancel their contracts in 2014. They managed to settle and returned to TS, coming back with their mini album Matrix in 2015. They even had a world tour in 2016. They were active until their contracts expired. Yongguk in Sep of 2018, Zelo in November and the rest in February of 2019. Obviously none of the members renewed. Yongguk, Daehyun, Youngjae, Jongup and Zelo have all been active with solo activities since leaving TS. Yongguk also enlisted in 2019, and Daehyun in November of 2020. Some members have also appeared at each other’s fanmeets and expressed interest in reuniting one day, though obv that’ll be awhile since two are in the military currently and the others will follow.
I will never forgive *T* r a *S* h entertainment for ruining my mans’ careers like that. B.A.P were the first Kpop group I instantly fell in love with. They were the first group I became part of a fandom. I miss them :( but looking at them, they’re slowly but surely recovering mentally from all that mess
The company mistreated the group physically, mentally, and would steal their profits. So after filing a lawsuit against the company, the group received no support from them. Instead, the group worked hard to get where they wanted to be but with little promotion and help from the company, the group didn’t get the love they deserved. Luckily, they left that trash of a company as soon as their contracts ended. It was a sad but happy day for us babyz. Now, TRCNG (a bg from TS) has filed multiple lawsuits due to same types of mistreatment (such as small and poor hygiene rooms, where the group live overcrowded in; mental and physical abuse). That’s why the group has been on pause for quite a while. I hope they leave soon. They debuted the year B.A.P released their last Korean album. When I heard of them, I felt bad that they’re gonna have to suffer and go through what their senior group went through :(
I'm a huge fan of HISTORY, I recently found out that Jang Yi-Jeong (their maknae) went on to work as a producer!!! (El Capitxn) He has produced many great songs, mostly by BTS actually Some famous ones include Ddaeng, Telepathy, Daechwita(as well as other AGUST-D songs), Mikrokosmos, Dionysus He is also responsible for Wine by Suran and Eight by IU I'm so happy that he's successful:)
SPEED had amazing and priginal choreographies B.A.P could have been the biggest kpop group HISTORY just started to get recognition too late LUCENTE WAIT THEY HAVE DISBANDED? MADTOWN those guys were so sassy, I loved thrm
Korean culture is centred around competition. Education, business, work, sports, and even entertainment. A little slip up and one will get throw out like trash with no chance to get back, and be heavily in debt. Competition also means, everyone is willing to go grey and shady just to be on the top. As much as I respect K-Pop for what they achieved, I certainly never their biggest fan when it comes to culture and business practices. Everyone deserve second chance.
@@vinlaurent_mariano while agree that most Asian countries do the same, still relatively tame compared to South Korea. South Korea is like on the whole different level. Far worse than anything else.
@@vinlaurent_mariano yes, and put the beauty standards and the obsession with perfect looks - even having no qualms about plastic surgery which is still a big taboo in most Asian countries and societies - into the mix, and we have a perfectly toxic environment of K-Pop. Their own obsession with perfection and competition to the point of shady practices, will be K-Pop's eventual downfall. Mark my words.
Idk if they are considered as 'silently disappeared' but ZE:A was such a promising group. They were really talented. Having members like Kwanghee, Park Hyungsik, Im Siwan & Kim Dongjun, who knows what's gonna happen if they come back.
The fact that you and even comments have forgotten about UNIQ is heartbreaking... they had sooo much potential and all five of them are so talented. But for some unknown reason YH ent. decided to stop promoting them 2 years after they debuted...
I don't know, just assuming from bits what I saw. The group was promoting in China from the beginning as well, then I only saw china line promoting in China, now I see only maknae is quite popular there, so...and Woodzi come back to Korea, for solo. So I think there is a reason for why YH stop promoting them. But I don't follow them well, so I only speculate.
@@you_already_have_it they debuted in 2014 (around the same time as got7) YH promoted them in SK for few months in the beginning before they decided to send them to tour in Japan, Thailand and Brazil when they didn't have big enough fan-base in Korea yet... in late 2016 s the company just moved them in China and barely promoted the group at all... they blame that on the Halyou ban, but if the company wanted to they could have promoted in SK just like they do with Everglow...
@@marinaush8582 well I mean, if half of a group (china line) can promote in China and half can't by law. What can company do.. Really.. That's why they split up.
UNIQ is finished as a group. UNIQ is dead. Yuehua do not have any reason to revive UNIQ while all the money they need is coming from the Chinese members in China. Yuehua is a Chinese company. The Chinese members are extremely well in China and Yuehua is doing very fine for all three of them, you do not need to worry about UNIQ's Chinese members. BUT in South Korea the two Korean members would be forever in the basement if it wasn't for the fact the two of them are working hard making connections and friends looking for paid work in the entertainment's industry while waiting for their contracts with Yuehua to end. Sungjoo is in the military service while Seungyoun is releasing music all the time outside Yuehua. The two of them must be counting the days to the end of their contracts as we apeak to be free.
the ark's story really hits me... when I watched the uni.t I really felt for the girls... to make 1 song and then disband, and then for euna and minju to try again only for the company to mess it up AGAIN is so frustrating. I was glad that suji at least got some spotlight with the unit but ofc uni.t themselves got screwed over with horrible promotions and mismanagement ps. euna totally deserved to debut with uni.t. she always ranked high, I'm not sure what went wrong (vote manipulations etc) but it's so unfortunate
Non of them should've disbanded. They bascially took away their childhood / social life hoping to become one of the most popular kpop groups, just to disband a few years into their contract. Their company used them and took away their childhood.
Kogun and Parkha of LUCENTE who went on G-EGG are re-debuting this year. The group is called NIK and will be a JPop-group. Some other members of NIK for example are Gunmin of B.I.G, Ryo from Produce 101 Japan season 1, Sihyuk from the fully Korean JPop-group Apeace and some more (in total 11 member)
Seeing BAP breaks my heart. The boys deserves so much but just because of their shitty company and how they treated the boys literally destroyed their career.. I mean they were the biggest grp and a rival of exo. I wish them to return back❤❤❤
Mostly all my favourite group after school, madtown, history, boys Republic, 9muses, Coed school, bestie and bap.. Maybe u can add in this list 1. C-Clown 2. Secret 3. Chocolat 4. Chichi 5. 5dolls 6. GANG KIZ 7. The boss/DGNA 8. Boyfriend 9. Ze:a 10. JJCC 11. Led apple 12. Royal pirates 13. Dal shabet 14. X-5 15. UNIQ 16. 100%
boy's republic one was sad, they really had all the support and stretched it out till 2019. but still, they cared about their fans so much they released a whole album for the final farewell, showing not just the appreciation to the fans but for music as well. hope they all are doing well now.
They didn't fade away silently either. There fans still hear them and listen. 🥺🥰. I'm okay with when they put out music its much better than them being overtaxed in all areas of life.
BAP is like no other kpop group in that era even now. Just look at their debut song. WARRIOR IS SUCH A POWERFUL SONG. TShit really wasted such great talents.
They didn't get enough recognition. Once their contracts end, Uji and Dahye didn't re-sign their contracts. In 2018 Hyeyeon signed to another company, leaving Haeryung the only member of the company
But can you imagine if a group like Speed debuted today? They were so good, their choreographies are honestly the best I’ve seen on Kpop. So much lost potencial
they didnt dissapear, just some member changes. This roster never released a new song tho, just some content such as dance cover etc. Their latest song was Bonnie n Clyde if i remember
all the members except changsun left, they added 4 new members after but still haven’t released a song since everyone left. they’re fairly active on instagram and tiktok tho. they posted something on their instagram that might be hinting towards a comeback tho!! i’m super excited because 24k is one of my fave groups. i even saw them in concert right before everyone left :(
Dude, 24K's lineup changed fully. There is only one older member left, but I also think he isn't from the original lineup as well. They should just debut in another group under another name. This surely isn't 24K anymore.
I can assure you that they haven't disbanded! Like the others already said they do have a completely different lineup and are currently just active on Instagram and vlive. There was supposed to be a comeback but honestly their company and management team is just terrible and constantly comes up with excuses as to why the group is not having a new comeback..
@@emske737 i think they teased at a comeback on their instagram. or it could just be a project changsun is working on idk i rlly hope it’s a comeback :(
I remember back in 2011-12 when BAP was huge!!! They were taking over in many aspects like BLOCK B (only Zico is active now as a solo artist). BAP had so so so much potential and their songs, even now, are still hits.
I am simple, i see Boys Republic, i click *cries silently* i miss them Man, SPEED also hit me hard since their choreos were fucking awesome, Don’t Tease Me and What U are still my jams, the same with History and Queen/Might Just Die B.A.P will always be in my heart. This group means so much to me and we as fans suffered with them, eventually celebrating when they finally disbanded. Yongguk begged us to not buy albums, fan cancelling a concert so they can rest and even more... Topp Dogg twt *cries again* seriously i hyped them up and now their company just stays silent.
loved B.a.p and history. Still remember that feeling when they click follow in twitter. i was so sad when they announced disband. Now its near 4 years when they disbanded and i still enjoy so much they songs like Queen or Dreamer, psycho, might just die. B.a.p. was for me between group which make me like kpop. i loved them, songs and members too. Still enjoy they songs. still regret didnt come to they concert because at that time i was so young.
I loved B.A.P!!!! I still do. I also hoped for a re group but I think they didn’t do it like highlight did because of their army enlistments following each other. Like every year someone would be gone so they didn’t see the point. But if you check their instagrams they’re still really good friends
I guess the same thing happened to boy band Boyfriend under starship entertainment. They were completely cornered by the company after the formation of monstax...
I am a Multi Fandom fan, and My bias group is B.A.P. All the groups mention here really deserve more., If only TShit have a heart but they dont!!! I will always be a Babyz, I can wait for them to be together again
@@sone9029 all the money they worked for goes to that TSh*t entertainment. They are over worked and not able to see their parents. And they have slave contract, its more than 7 years contract if I'm not mistaken.
B.A.P great talents, awesome songs and they’re amazing artists/performers...saw them in concert in Atlanta, GA. One of my 1st kPOP concerts I attended w/ my daughter-priceless experience. I love B.A.P❤️ #foreverBABYZatHEART
The Ark and History brought me to tears. I know Euna Kim from The Ark/Khan moved back to the U.S. and devoted her life to Christianity so I think she just gave up on music. I'm happy that Yijeong, from History, became a successful producer, and that Kyungil and Jaeho kept trying to remain in the music scene (though I am sorry they haven't found the success they worked so hard for). Last I heard of Sihyoung was that he was a host or DJ on a radio channel or podcast, but that was already 2-3 years ago now. I haven't heard much about Dokyun after he finished his military service. :/
yall can support bap solo activities as well 😩 zelo's gonna drop his third album in april/may, also yongguk comes back in may from the military service
I remember being such a huge B.A.B.Y (BAP fan) and I recently began loving Boys Republic’s music even though I’ve known about them for years 😭😭😭 Gosh, the K-pop industry is brutal!
wow had to start with After School where it huRTS- the group that learnt drumming, tap dancing, pole dance for comebacks & were amazing dancers with fresh concepts. Top visuals & top girl group talent 🥲 Omg I miss 9MUSES how did this happen
one of my biggest fear when stanning rookies from small companies is that they would be forgotten and disappear from the public eye. i had this when i stanned loona and the boyz during their predebut days and i'm glad to see them flourishing now. the idol world is a really tough place that relies on popularity for money.
I am still SO pissed about bap. But the reason why there is no news is actually obvious. BYG is in the military, Zelo has a soundcloud, Dae was active in musicals, and Youngjae a solo career. They're finally free from TS. They need time, but I am sure they have a chance to come back. Bap is timeless
Seeing B.A.P here makes me melancholic. Their fandom was so massive compared to other rookie groups that I knew no one who disliked them. I witnessed the escalation of their shrinking popularity. Most of their fans have become Exo-L, Monbebe, and Army, so the Exo-Monsta X-BTS trio could thank B.A.P a lot. ps. Block B should be another honorable mention.
The fact that I know all the groups on the list and most of them are my favorite groups, it's very sad to see them disbanding because of their company's fault, they deserve better :(
Damn, I was a huge fan of BAP and honestly during the time BAP debuted they were a hit, up those 2 years, they were rivals with other huge kpop groups like EXO. I remembered both fandoms actively competing against each other on award shows. It really is a shame that their popularity dropped after the lawsuit and Yongguk left. Just in my opinion, but I feel like a lot of BABYs went to BTS during BAPs hiatus because of the similar song vibes they had in their early debuts. But maybe that's just me
Four of the members from Pristin even got to redebut in a group called Hinapia. Sadly, due to the pandemic the group was forced to disband since they were in a smaller company than Pledis.
the most shocking was After School and B.A.P for me .. I felt these two groups were quite popular during 2nd gen Kpop... not so sure about agencies but I hope those disbanded groups will still doing fine.. there are too many groups debut in a year, hence competition is quite tough I think..
PRISTIN could've been 4th gen's leading girl group, Nu'est's comeback with Minhyun could be the group's starting point to international success, After School's succes is outstanding that they're one of the biggest girl group of 2nd gen. All of this including Seventeen's global success could be Pledis' one step ahead to following BH's step to be a succesful company that's not part of Big 3, but sadly Pledis wasted the opportunity. Pledis have the potential with these amazing artists. It's just so sad I miss Pristin and After School a lot 😭😭😭, Pledis undoubtedly has one of K-pop's best girl groups to exist, yet they manage them so bad.
This reminds me of Bee Gees tweet for bangtan, "....glad you are in such a good company" Groups featured above would probably be famous if the companies managed them well ~
I wasn't really invested in a lot of the groups mentioned, but I definitely feel like B.A.P. would have been super successful if it weren't for that lawsuit. They had great songs and wonderful members. I found about them too late and wasn't able to enjoy them in the moment
all of these groups had so much potential. I will never forget how hurt I was hearing about history, b.a.p and Boys Republic. Especially since they are some of my ults.
