‘The story I want to tell you cannot be found in a book. They say the history of the west was written from the saddle of a horse, but it’s never been told from the heart of one. Not ‘till now. I was born here, in this place that would come to be called The Old West. But to my kind, the land was ageless. It had no beginning and no end, no boundary between earth and sky. Like the wind and the buffalo grass, we belonged here. We would always belong here. They say the mustang is the spirit of the west. Whether that west was won or lost in the end, you’ll have to decide for yourself. But the story I want to tell you is true. I was there and I remember. I remember the sun and the sky, and the wind calling my name, and a time when wild horses ran free...’
Best than Shrek and El Dorado. Spirit is more than that, seriously is one of the most emotionals movies ever. One of the best films ever made, not jokes!
The most underrated movie ever. This movie is so great yet so few people care about it. Here are some reasons and thoughts on why this movie was the best storytelling movie ever created by mankind. We always know the story of the first people settling in the west. But for the first time we get a really smooth perspective of it from the eyes of someone innocent and not aware of the danger. It teaches the joy's of life, and the wide definition of freedom. No matter how confident you might be, there is always something more to what you you see. This movie PERFECTLY shows that. It's just a story, but a story which has a clear direction and always involves our character to grow up and become more wise. We expirenxe a journey of someone who we all love and care but surprisingly the stallion is a badass. No joke. But we still like him. He grows up and with that a new chapter of the story opens. It's never too rushed nor is it too slow. The music is soooooo good. Probably the reason you are hearing this right now. It's a great story, like the structure of a fairytale story. But it's real history. Animation... Yeah... With a budget of around 90 million there is not a good quality, sorry but it's true. EVERYTHING else is just almost perfection.
This is my most favorite movie ever. nothing can takes its place. every time i listen to this playlist i scream and cry to how beautiful it is. every song reminds me of how the movie plays. i remember every scene form the movie.
You also have "The Black Stallion" and "The Black Stallion Return" with two magnificent soundtracks, the first by Carmine Coppola, and the second by Georges Delerue.
I think the tango of danger - freedom - hero elegance in this song is criminally underrated. 2:47 feels like a full on conversation between danger and hero elegance and when the hero defeats the threat it smoothly turns into a monolog of freedom. beautiful.
I listen to this before an important exam or a job interview, it gives me sooo much courage and self confidence. Like I can achieve ANYTHING! Music is such a miracle
I also do this before important meetings, at gym workouts, and just like that) It seems to me that Hans Zimmer's music in general inspires and gives power to achievements and victories.
It was a great film at the beginning of this century. My mind changes slightly every time I see this. In the end, success is the only thing that matters. This scene, which was recorded in my childhood, has not yet left my mind. It shows how to save loved ones in any situation. It means to live together to show love to all.
Bro I went to Utah and Colorado during the summer and did a lot of backpacking. This soundtrack was literally on repeat the entire time it was insanely epic
This is one of the greatest ost tracks ever! Spirit was my fav horse anime ever & this orchestral masterpiece still sounds as Amazing now as it did when I heard it over a decade ago! Omg I'm so happy you posted this thanks. Huge like 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Story of never giving up, staying focused and being true to yourself no matter what because that's what it means to be free. Couldn't think of a better moral for kids and adults alike; and the best thing is they tell most of the story WITHOUT TALKING because the animation, music, and story speak for itself! The recent release of Spirit Unbridled is an absolute travesty.
What are you even talking about? The original soundtrack and score was written by Hans Zimmer. Bryan Adams was co writer and singer for the song Here I Am and he also sang the rest of the songs throughout the movie. Do your research before going on spreading false information.
