ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UPbTK0K1w6s.html here's a link to a video where I have to remove the battery where it isn't already removed.
At least, I’m not native speaker of English, your explanation is very clear and according your movements. Thanks… you’ll save me all the complications with technical and privacy. If I got installed and works I’ll send you for a cup of coffee for sure.
Glad it helped. If you haven't already, please like and subscribe so others can find my videos and possibly consider watching a few others to get the algorithm to recommend my channel. Thanks!
Thanks for this excellent video tutorial. The camera work, zooming, and detailed instructions seem to be VERY complete and thorough. I bought a used 2017 A1708 MacBook pro with over 900 cycles that is not holding a charge for more than a couple of hours, so your video should help this amateur immensely. I wonder if you have any preferences or recommendations for a battery vendor/brand that you consider to be reliable and a good buy? Thanks again.
Glad you like the video. I don't have a specific preferred brand for this model battery, but this should be good with 1 year warranty. amzn.to/337LPDp and good reviews.
hi great video! quick question, does the battery flex cable that goes on towards the end have a clamp on both sides? I've recently replaced he battery but I could only see a clamp on the right side! Now it appears I've broken the cable so have ordered a new one. Thanks
@@ItsBinhRepaired so it appears there was no latch on the new battery! If I knew what I was doing I would have noticed before installing it. Instead of buying a new battery or replacing the latch, (which I imagine would be difficult.) do you think I could tape it to keep it secure? If so what tape?
@@ItsBinhRepaired no I had to use the original cable. Now it appears I may have broken that as well cos it won’t power on unless plugged in but have ordered a new one. Would you recommend anything to keep the cable in place like tape or anything or would I be better off buying another replacement battery?
Hey mate! How are you doing? Thanks for the video! My macbook has fallen months back, everything was fine. After I got an update, my touchbar doesn't show up. There's neither light or touch sensor working. What could be possible reason behind that? Thanks in advance.
Followed the steps and the new battery works fine and everything else except the keyboard. The power button seems to be the only working key, what should I do?
@@ItsBinhRepaired I will try to clean the underneath of the trackpad and then reinstall before I consider buying a new trackpad, what's the safest cleaning solution to use in this situation? also if a new trackpad doesn't fix it, what else could be the cause? thanks
Hi I’m using this video to help remove my battery because there was some water that seemed to have gotten in my laptop. And so my screen has splotches. The water indicator is sadly red so do you think in the future that’ll mess something up
@@ItsBinhRepaired I did the upside down dry technique for two days and I checked it today but there’s still water in my screen. The same amount too. It didn’t get through the back vents because I saw the excess water in the in between where the keyboard and screen would be. Everything worked fine but I know it’s not smart to keep that water there. Do you have any advice?
@@valeriegonzalez3373 if the liquid is only in the screen, it should be ok to use unless the liquid is in the lower part. If you want to be safe, give it at least a week before turning it on.
@@ItsBinhRepaired Thanks for a quick reply :). Asking as I’m looking to get the battery replaced and the guy at the shop said he could give me an original battery with only a few cycles taken from a faulty non touchbar (mine is with touchbar). Both are from mid 2017 however they obviously have different model numbers due to the touch vs non touch. Just trying to find the info before saying yes to this as don’t want to install a non compatible battery..
DO YOU NEED TO PUT THE BACK ON FOR IT TO START? What are diagnostics when doesn't start? Why put screws on if you don't know it will start? Consider all failure modes and branches, speak to those.
