Hard to believe this game is nearly a decade old. This is one of my favorite games of all-time, and it’s a shame we’ll likely never see another game like it with the direction Ubisoft has taken the series…
POV, it’s 2013 and you’re watching these gameplay videos with hype through the roof for this game. I remember watching these everyday and counting down the days until this game was released
Here in 2021 re-living all the memories from this masterpiece. Recently bought it for ps4 to play again as I played it on ps3 originally. One of my favourite games of all times
@@LayneZoomer I remember watching this in 2013 in 1st grade and being amazed by the graphics and sailing around the world , I should’ve cherished those moments more , now I’m a senior
I love how they integrated the pirate world into the AC universe and how they actually made a good pirate game and his costume is spot on can't wait to get it.
There’s simply one way to describe Black Flag, not half assed. It’s a real authentic gaming experience for a lot of players, but most importantly, it’s meant for those who don’t really have any knowledge of the franchise. This is a surprising example of what pleasing both fans look like🌴🌴🏴☠️
for me AC2 and Brotherhood are still the best in the saga but considering the open world gameplay for this game, it is one of the best game that I have ever played in my life
This game was so ahead of its time even with all its jank. Ubisoft unintentionally created the greatest pirate game of all time with a stunning story in the heart of it
It’s 2024, it’s been over a decade since the game came out. Every teen that was eagerly awaiting this game’s release back in middle school or high school is now in their 20s or early 30s. Still, when I watch this trailer, it takes me back to a time when I got more excited about stuff and less worried about the random bs in life. All that mattered was getting home after school, firing up the dusty PS3, and setting sail. Miss those days🥲
I wish I could go back in time when life was better. I've finished this game so many times and I want to replay it again. there are just positive memories attached to it. this is also one of the few games I could play and not get bored of and was also the first AC my mom got me a few days after its release. I dunno why but it makes it more special :')
i really love how the HUD has changed back to the original one, with the hooded assassin as your notoriety indicator ,the health bars, and the button prompts. it's too good.
When i was 11, this video just came out. i can remember it as yesterday. this guy talking about the game with the gameplay... wow i REALLY wanted to play this. what a nostalgic video. one of the best games ever made IMO
I don't think they have ruined a good game series. I think that have done a good job creating a great seamless open world. I just hope that in this amazing world they have created a story that makes us fall in love with the character like they did with Ezio. That can't be judged until the full game is released.
In all honesty, I have been really impressed with what I have seen of the new AC. As some of the recent games have seemed lacking, and lacked replay ability. The sea battle was fantastic; this is the best pirate game I have ever seen, considering it is an AC game!
this is the best assassins ever made! the other ones are just boring as fu**. This open world is great and the ability to use your boat is just amazing. I appreciate developers who actually make a game to a high standard.
The story is ruined and rushed near the 2nd half. It ruined the whole game for me. Fucking missed opportunity on interesting characters. They should've should made Black Flag a series, to flesh out the characters properly.
Callmethe G saying the other ones are "boring is fuck" is a bit harsh. This is a great game overall and one of the best open world games but te other ACs are wayyyy better as Assassin's Creed games
Please keep Edward as a main character for a few more games like Ezio! Let AC4 last just you did AC2 !!! This whole pirate theme is the best idea yet! Don't let it last for just one game! Keep the pirate theme for at least two more games! :D
Pretty damn amazing, well improved from the last,as I see you fixed alot of various bugs and such. Can't wait for the awesomeness that is this AC game! :D
I've been a die hard creed fan since the beginning. i cant express my love for this game! and i really cannot wait for black flag, i talk about it everyday and wonder what all new elements are going to be introduced. only two more months till i get me special edition!!!!!!!!!
The entire franchise has had the underlying present day story at its heart. It's the only reason we got to be in the animus in the first place. I hope we get a full blown present day Creed in the future. Feels like the series is going that way anyway.
1) The cannonballs hit the mast. 2) Reloading animation not there or magic. 3) Winds tears ship apart and ignites gunpowder, 4) They move pretty quick I've seen thunderstorms end in 2 minutes. 5) The crew from the ship stay on it and it helps reduce you becoming overpowered.
I don't recall where the interview is from... but the example he mentioned in it was Feudal Japan, and that it's not decided for any such setting if they'll do it or not, it depends on what setting they want to do next and what makes sense for the narrative. And I mentioned World War II as an example, I think it's already explored well enough in the AC2 Glyphs. But there has been a dev around the time of ACB who said that he'd like a female Assassin in WWII. Every dev has their own opinon.
Some of them were challenging and I really enjoyed them, but seriously... let's think of a mission in ACB where you had to infiltrate Castel Saint Angelo without being detected. This was awesome. It was very challenging and strategic. Now let's think of the same think in AC3 where you had to infiltrate someone's camp and kill him. It as very good, too. Now, in ACB when you had to infiltrate ships you had to grab/double kill = awesomeness. In AC3 you just had to time well your air assassinations.
I know how AC3 felt but look at it from the perspective that with all the gigantic mistakes in AC3 they now know what needs changing and what people liked.
As shallow as this may be, but Altair and Edward have the most realistic-looking hoods. The fabric wrinkling, the way they fit in to the head, the way they fling around with each movement... All life-like. :)
Draw distance is a computer graphics term, defined as the maximum distance of objects in a three dimensional scene that are drawn by the rendering engine. Polygons that lie behind the draw distance won't be drawn to the screen.
I think its good to have new carachters with each game so we can get to know them.We learnt the personality of ezio from the first game the other two where pleasant because the had great story and a charachter that was an interesting person.Thats what AC need interesting charachters that will make the player get to know them better.
This fall is going to be just like two years ago... lots of great games coming out (in addition to new consoles): Arkham Origins, BF4, GTA 5, Beyond: Two Souls, Watch Dogs, Diablo 3 for consoles, AC4, COD: Ghosts, and Splinter Cell Blacklist. RIP my bank account.
I like to play with the mini map & hud off so I think it would be cool if they added something like if you set a waypoint on the map your mate that stands next to you would be looking at a map and pointing the direction you have to go, saying the direction, land ho, ect.
1. That's how people used to get off ships at places without a proper dock. 2. Since it's a game, I was thinking of lowering a boat, and the player can row to shore or where ever he wants.
Every day I am hoping - Assassin's Creed III was a bit of fun,but didn't catch the magic of stealth, exploration and story that were in the previous assassin's creed games. I hope that this will return my faith into the series.
We haven't seen a good pirate game for years. And in combination with Assassin's Creed,it is going to be an awesome adventure. Now I know where I will give my money :)
