You are amazing! Thank you so much for all the awesome videos. I'm not a new knitter, I learned to knit from my grandma when I was 9, but I never learned to read patterns. Basically, if I see it being done, I can do it. Sometimes, I can just figure it out by looking at a pattern. Sometimes, I see patterns I absolutely LOVE, but I simply can not read the charts. You've "translated" so many wonderful patterns for me, I'm very grateful, Tonia! THANK YOU ❤️. I say "translated" because charts and written patterns are Chinese to me 😂.

Hi Tonia, I happened to find J’s Knit and Purl Jam episode 173-1, My Easy Garter Tab Shawl 101 there is also a 173-102. You could easily use one or more skeins if you wanted. No written pattern to download. Basically she teaches you how to knit this crescent shaped shawl. You should write the instructions as she teaches the pattern. I liked her and the shawl so much that I actually ran to Joann Fabrics to get the same yarn after watching her post. She is very clear in her instruction. I highly recommend this pattern.

I'm ready to cast on something new so this is perfect timing. I've done a lot of the joji shawls and mussleburg is in my queue already but lots more great suggestions thanks!!

I recommend bralettes! Small sizes can be made by one 50 gram skein. Larger sizes by two skeins. I recommend Opulent Plunge. Or any by Jessiemaed. Also will make Nurture bralette.

I have a design on Ravelry called Solme cowl. One skein of sport weight yarn. It has feather and fan at the bottom with cables up the neck with an icord bind off.

Musselburgh pattern is great. I’ve just done one in Arroyo by Malabrigo. Check out the short cast-on video by Mostly Knitting if you haven’t done a top-down hat before. Currently working on a Trillian by Martina Behm (Strichmich) as I watch this. She has several great garter-stitch based one skein projects.

If she is German it's probably Strickmich (not Strichmich) 🙂

Thank you for all of these great ideas! Jessie Maed Ripple bralette pattern takes less than one skein and is a great way to use up stash yarn.
