13 or 15 inch Retina MacBook Pro? (2015) 

Who would've known this turned out be the last really good 15" Macbook Pro ever made (at least for now)...

Undecided between a 13 inch or 15 inch MacBook Pro? This should help!

I got the 13inch because it's a really good size and not too big or heavy. The battery last a long time. And it's really quick and snappy. Plus the force touch track pad is on point. Overall it's Amazing! Apple did a great job

I was going to get the 15 inch until I went on a trip this past week then I defaulted to a 13in. The portability and power you get with it is great especially when uploading footage and photos in high res. I did upgrade my storage though because my last computer had the minimum and that did not work for me at all. I can't wait to get the new machine in it should be good.

I just wish macs were more affordable.

Great video. I had the 15inch Pro Retina, however I just bought a 13inch Pro Retina. The reasons were 'mobility' and 'ergonomics' . I bought a 19inch high res. monitor and put it on an ergo arm. Because I'm self employed I can do more plus my home office looks more organized. The audio was my only concern because of the placement of the speakers. I was amazed how clear and deep the audio is on the 13inch. Yes, the 15inch is a little faster etc., but the 13inch is no slouch.

I love going through these old videos, just to see how much more of approval this MacBook Pro had, rather than 2016 and 2017 ones. Looks like people got hit really hard by Apple removing all ports.

Chose the 15 inch a year ago. I didn't entirely need all the power it offers so it probably goes underutilized for the most part but I'm a fan of the 15 inch screen size and it was the only one I could get of that size.

I really love the power behind the 15 inch, but I love the size of the 13 inch. Being in college, I see a lot of people with the 13 inch and it just seems like the perfect fit. I ended up getting the 15 inch with some of the specs upgraded. It performs so well, but I do feel it just seem "too big" sometimes, and wish I had the 13 inch. However, it's still an amazing machine and I love it!

I love my macbook pro, it is very speedy, simple, beautiful. The 13 inch one, which I am using, would be recommended, as its fast and everything you need doesn't require a much bigger and heavier size. Don't let the "PC FANS AND MAC HATERS" fool you! The Macbook Pro, Macbook and Macbook Airs are REALLY GREAT LAPTOPS! CHECK EM OUT!

i got the 13in for christmas, went back and traded it for a 15in a few days later, and while i do love the upgrade in screenspace i do miss the portability of a 13in so no matter what you get, you're going to have to make a sacrifice in at least one category

Is the core i7 CPU in the new iMac hyper-threaded so that there are 4 true cores and 4 virtual cores for a total of 8. Someone told me that it is not. I am looking at buying my first apple computer. thanks

Can you tell me how long the macbook pro retina 13" is able to render and export a 4k movie? example 1-3 minutes of the 4k video length. With or without video color correction, color graded effect, or other effect to the video, and with the export setting highest bitrate, 2 pass-encoding. I want to know how long for you to get it done ?

I've bought and cancelled orders on like 5 Macs this past month. The fact that the 2016 model sucks really threw me for a loop. I bought originally the 13" 2015 to replace my 13" 2010 model, but quickly returned it, thinking - if I'm going to spend $1300, why not go big? So I ended up buying the $2300 Macbook 15" with i7 2.5 and the dedicated graphics card. Gaming is alright - I've been playing mostly Diablo 3 and Starcraft 2, but honestly - the fact that I don't get 60 fps on this machine just feels kind of dorky. It's really way too much machine for me in most respects, but the fact that it can't even game that well seems so lame to me. I think I'm going to return it and get the 13" again and save over $1000. Perhaps I could use that money to see a good psychologist, this has been so confusing!

Hey I welling to purchase a Macbook pro 13 2015 edition. I'm currently a windows user and I have never me a Mac OS user but I have no problem switching to Mac OS but because it can be easier to solve problems on Windows so welling to add the Parallels for the Mac. So I want to know that it will make the Mac slow or laggy or create problems for the Mac. I went to the Apple Store today *Aug 12th* and school starts in about 4 wks for me...I was testing out/playing with the 13' & 15'. Most people will say whatever it's only a 2.1 screen size differential but it does make a difference when your watching vids, writing papers, editing stuff even if it's just minor stuff. The only thing I like about the 13' is its lighter and smaller. Personally I'd go with the 15' it does cost most money but it's a great laptop and unlike Windows laptops, Apples lost wayy longer. If the deciding factor is well it weighs more and it's bigger. Just remember this, take your MacBook to uni/college when you need it most everyday. Some profs in my uni don't allow laptops during lectures. Depends on your schedule to I guess? If you live on res or at home. But I edit vids here n there, photos, I prefer a larger screen when typing essays and papers, especially if I'm watching RU-vid vids or NBA games online.

Getting a Macbook pro 15" just can't decide if I should wait till next year's updated model or get this one and save a couple bucks around this time of the year

I am going to school for ministry so I will be running Logos 6 Gold Bible software, writing papers, and taking photo's (not a ton) as well as making power points and writing papers. Which macbook would be the best option for me? The max I can spend is $3,000.
